Senate Will Open The Envelope Today!

The senate will open the Ministerial nominees list sent to them by President Buhari today!

I am so excited!...How do you feel and what are your expectations concerning whom the nominees should be?

Whose name will you be disappointed seeing on the list?

    1. I have fears for amaechi and fayemi bcos they are all from pdp controlled states. and the rule is that atleast 2 senators from ur state must confirm u b4 u can be a senator.

    3. I've been hoping to see godly and righteous names like prophet Elijah. Moses, Joshua, king David, job, Daniel, Paul. Etc on d delayed ministerial list but unfortunately d rumoured names are entirely different from the above mentioned names. I think d essence of waiting this long is to find and appoint those honest and corrupt free individuals to help implement their promised 'change '. So why nominate any of the popular names of the 16 years government that have been accused of being d most corrupt. To be honest, any short of the above mentioned names won't impress me.

    4. Tuscany, u are very right. Hmmm.. I for one do not really care who makes the list. I'm just interested for the purpose of the "politicking" involved.. Esp with the ongoing saga in the Senate. More importantly, I'm paying attention to Saraki's countenance vis-a-vis Buhari's choice for his cabinet. It'll be an interesting session

    6. I, formerly known and addressed as Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi now wish to be known and addressed as Saint R.C Amaechi. The people of Rivers State should please take note.
I formerly known as Kayode Fayemi now wish to be known as Prophet Kayode Fayemi. The indigenes of Ekiti and general public should please take note.
I hope you are impressed now @christabel

  2. I can't name names, but one thing is for sure - I wish all of them the best. For real though, I would want Rotimi Amaechi, Chris Ngige, Babatunde Fashola, Kayode Fayemi, Ogbonnaya Onu and Ibe Kachikwu to be among them. I'm not convinced about Lai Mohammed and Aisha Alhassan if what the media has presented is the truth.

  3. Abegi,I am not excited about this yeye envelope and its yeye ministerial list.
It is utterly shameful and disgraceful.that we are still talking about nominating ministers.
four months after this archaic govt came to power.
Can this nonsense happen in any developed country? We are our biggest problems. We ve come to accept mediocrity now as the standard.

  6. Excited about what?
Are the names being bandied about still not the same people that have been in government since?
What new ideas do they have please?
We cant keep doing things same way and expect a different result.
    Anyway, Good luck to them.

  9. I don't want to see Amaechi on that list , he's a thief . Neither would i Wana see Chris ngige - he has a scandalous past . I'd be more upset if fashola is amongst , he's a bigger thief - pretending to be a saint, that's the worst kind.

  22. I don't bloody care about these future looters
I don't even see the usefulness of these so-called ministers. What's their handwork?
Shey Nigeria as a country has been standing still without ministers since may 29.
This is 5months now and it goes to show that these people no get work. Dem no get use.
They are just there for decoration and thievery.

Yes, it's my opinion, and no, you do not have to agree with me.

    1. They are just figureheads. The civil servants do all the work while the ministers receive fat pay cheques . But it's necessary that they are appointed to help run the country, PMB can't run Nigeria all by himself.

  23. At this point, I really do not care about the list. The hype surrounding dwindled months ago. What's there to look forward to if it'll be the same old recycled politicians with no vision or prospects for the country? This is just an avenue for them to enrich themselves some more.
Nonetheless, I wish them goodluck, and I pray they surprise Nigerians by doing the right thing.
