Rochas Okorocha WHERE IS THE CHANGE?

Please if you have the attention of the Governor,I need him to read this...He might read and wave it off but I need him to READ!!!!

''First, i wish to state clearly that this is not to slander anybody or
lay false accusations,as i had pondered days on end on if and whether
i should send this mail or not because the parties involved are best
left private.

For past months now, the Buhari led administration had screamed
#Change down our throats and we accepted, for peace to reign. Now,
stella i can't help but wonder where the change is.

They say Owelle Rochas Okoroacha is working? I wonder where that
change is? This is his 5th year as governor of Imo state and stella
from the day he won, it has been one thing or the other. Let me shock
you with brief facts.

When he assumed power, i.e his first tenure, he laid off staff of
the state owned local station, most of them senior staff. Can you
believe that till today as i write, nothing has been said of Pension
and gratuity which when calculated has already run into millions of
naira.

When i read reports of people who committed suicide in Bayelsa and
Oyo over this issue, i shudder, because i personally know one of such
people.  Feel free to ask around, the standard of living in Owerri is
relatively high, how then does a man laid off his Job train his
children, pay rent and feed without being paid the money owed him by
the nation he served diligently all through his youthful years.

Stella, it's heartbreaking that grown men now cry themselves to
sleep and have to live off well wishers, words cannot express how
disheartening it is that the governor still gets to sleep peacefully
at night in his mosquito - free room.

Owelle Rochas, do you have a consience? Why so wicked? Who hurt you!
Where is the change?  I believe in the power of  the pen and Nigerian
leaders don't behave until they're called out via mass media and i
honestly hope you see this and do the needful. Pay your workers you
laid off from the broadcasting service. How can someone go from
comfortable to feeding hand to mouth? What of their children? With the
cost of education these days? Where is your consience? You know nobody
can afford to sue. You say you want to reduce pension. Ok, at least
pay them the reduced sum multiplied by five years ni? You get
allocations, what do you use it to do? Isn't the government for the
people.

Protests have been done, letters written, promises made, still
nothing. Naija, which way? Even the Bible says that a worker is
entitled to his wages. How do you sleep knowing that you're causing
others sleepless nights. It is not an issue of releasing statements,
just pay them their accrued wages, it's already bad enough that you
laid them off, now you still won't pay? You get allocations for this,
it's not a charity organization. Do the needful.

You say there's free education, these pensioners children are
slowly turning drop outs. This can be another menace if not nipped in
the bud now.

While i commend the witch hunting of corrupt past government
parastatals, my advice to President Buhari is that sometimes, while
chasing shadows, the problem is in our own kitchen. Let the probing
start from home, the officials on seat, let's not wait till they leave
with all the money before we do something  because if withholding
pension of workers for five years isn't already an offence, then the
Constitution should be amended to that effect. If you claim you'll
bring #Change, then be ready to live up to expectations.

Yes, we have light, thank you. However what is the use of the light when there's nothing to put in the fridge, or where there is no money to pay the
light bills because workers are not being paid. Is this the change?

Stella, If you can give this the desired audience, it will go a
long way in making Owelle get a conscience attack if in fact he has a
heart, and we'll be praying for him till that day comes, but till then,
STELLA, WHERE IS THE CHANGE?

MICHELS DORIS

This memo is entitled to a right of Reply.I will be glad to post anything from the governor's Media team debunking the accusations here.
Thank you.

U need to see the massive mall his daughter uloma built on MCC road by pilgrims. U will marvel. The guy na complete 419. Owerri is at standstill. No money anywhere. Traders are suffering. Civil servants are crying. He thinks he is God. 3 more years nd no one will remember u.

Thank you nzube.what does PMB have to do with this. Are we forgetting that Rochas went in on the platform of another party with back yard support of the PDP before he defected.?What is wrong with us as citizens? If he didn't do anything for the people of Imo in his first four years, why didn't you campaign against him and mobilize using social media sites so he won't get in for another term?

we are cowards and lousy ones at that in this country. The igbos especially didn't even vote PMB yet we are now crying to him.

    7. Nzube listen to yourself. You and I know that the result of that election was tampered with. All Rochas does is the more you look the less you see. Whoever sent this in is so on point. Rochas is busy picking fights with people over their lands and owing the workers at his service and the one's he laid off unjustly... He is busy doing nothing. Change can mean anything though. They didn't define ' change' .... It might be good or bad and the people of Imo state is not having it easy. Cost of living is high. The only cheap thing in Imo state is banana, pear, and pawpaw. Yes!

    8. Don't say what you don't know. Is Owerri a local village u can woo with rice and chicken? Even b4 the end election, Owelle was being booed by market women whenever they see his car because of the state of the city then

Imo people did not vote in Okorocha for this 2nd tenure.

He himself says it openly that Imolites didn't vote him in, that he made his own votes for this last election so they have no right to expect anything from him.
He has made that statement openly like 3 times now.

Saying I weep for my people is saying d least.
I have always been an apc supporter bt for my said state,i wanted anybody other than rochas to win bt mba,my people had to sell their birth right for a bag of rice and little change in d pocket.

I dnt even care what he does anymore,if he likes,he shouldn't pay dem workers or even sack all...they should smile in their suffering cos they brought it upon demselves.

  14. It is very unfortunate, for a country so richly endowed, with both human and natural resources, is allowed to be managed by heartless, wicked and diabolical leaders, from local government chairmen, law makers, to governors and high up the ladder. This is the same Rochas, who has promised to build school for IDPs' in far away North, with state resources, while in your own state, your people are grappling on straws hopping for a better tomorrow, I just can't understand, is it all about paving way for his future presidential bid. They cries of these old pensioners and those layed off without their entitlements, will not allow that his ambition to come to life. My people say "ana amara mma puo n'ezi", you can't be saving another man's house, while your own is on fire. Our Kleptomaniac legislators should change our constitution, that will entitle state governors a single 5yrs term only, because they virtually don't do anything in their second term.
Dear Michels Doris, all you guys need to do is go down on your knees and pray, pray hard that God should intercede on this matter, in any way he deems fit and just.

    So I always wonder....
    Who voted him into power?

    1. TGW, Imo people did not vote him in the 2nd time and He knows it.

He makes statements of how he made his own votes by himself without the help of the people.
I am saying this because I was at Owerri during the elections and the public opinion was against him. Even the Catholic church who helped him win the 1st tenure due to their massive number turned against him and wernt in favor of him.
Infact, some LGAs were still voting when they heard their own results on the Telvision lol.

Imo is a small state so public opinion can be easily discerned.

  30. Everything this poster said is the truth.

Due to the fact that the city lacks commercial industries, it's survival depends largely on civil servants and tourism ie, hotels, lounges and fun places.

    Now, Salaries are being owed.
The roads are in appalling states thus this has reduced the influx of people from other states who travel down to the state to 'jolly' over the weekends.

This two major factors have contributed to the perpetual standstill that Owerri is in right now. The populace is really suffering. Also crime rate has increased with an alarming rate. They rob, kidnapp and kill in broad day lights and with impunity. God recently saved my brother from them.

Buhari needs to give Rochas fire because he feels he is beyond the law.
