STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE
PRESIDENT BUHARI TAKES SUCCOUR TO YOUNG GIRL AND SURVIVORS OF ABUJA BOMB ATTACK
President Muhammadu Buhari Sunday in Abuja took succour to survivors of Friday night’s bomb attacks on Nyanya and Kuje in the Federal Capital Territory.
On a visit to the survivors of the attack who are receiving treatment at the Trauma Centre of the National Hospital, President Buhari wished them full and speedy recovery.
The President reassured the survivors that the Federal Government will take full responsibility for settling their medical bills.
He also directed his Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari to settle the N268,790.00 medical bill of a young girl in the Paediatric Ward of the hospital.
The girl’s mother, Deborah Stephen, had broken into tears on seeing President Buhari. She told him that her daughter had been shot by armed robbers who raided their home and that the family could not afford the medical bills.
The President who was accompanied by his personal aides and Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State, visited the intensive care unit, the paediatric unit and general wards of the National Hospital.
Expressing his appreciation of the President's visit, the Chief Medical Director of the National Hospital, Dr Jafaru Momoh said that it will help the patients’ recovery by giving them a greater psychological sense of being valued and loved by their country.

ReplyDeleteAmosu will be going round with buhari and he refuse to make his state good. Ppl in Asese under owode local government are suffering. No light, no hospital, no good schools. It's the landlord there that are caring the so called bale can't even do anything but collect money from ppl. Recently a brothel was opened opposite the bales palace. Now girls of under 12 are into prostitution. Amosu should do something for owode local goverment especially Asese, I beg him.
ReplyDeleteToorrr na wetin I ask about Amosu be dat o. Always with GMB. We know they've always been close from time immemorial, we know he's fund of him. But this close marking is getting too much. You can't be appointed any other position than the gov u already are na.

ReplyDeleteAfter how many days? So he should just jump and go? Won't he be briefed about the situation before visiting? Just 2days after and you're sounding this way? If you got nothing to write better pass
DeleteNzube as much as I try to ignore u, u keep talking trash.
DeleteA leader in Naija should have a heart,or pretend he/she does, have a good media and publicity guy and few good advisers.
ReplyDeleteGEJ in my opinion had a heart but terrible media people and horrible advisers,PMB on the other hand is trying so hard to make sure he does not make the same mistakes his predecessor made.
Is it no better for a person to learn from the past.
DeleteOk we haff hia
ReplyDeleteIs Buhari laughing or what??
ReplyDeleteWho is that guy in white shirt laughing beside GMB? That picture should never have been posted under such news. Very insensitive.
ReplyDeleteWell, he has done well by accepting to clear their bills.
