Political TSUNAMI In Oru East LGA Of Imo State In Favour Of Duru Millicent Chinasa

History that could be best described as "political tsunami" was made in Owerri the Imo state capital yesterday when the election petition tribunal nullified the election of the APC candidate for Oru East state constituency election in favour of Duru Millicent Chinasa of the Labour party.




This is the only judgement that favoured a candidate that is neither of the PDP nor APC.

Duru Millicent Chinasa of the Labour party who was considered by many as an outside contender has written her name in gold having being the first candidate to win an election in Oru East on her first attempt.

    I am from oru east though I hardly go home. My dad told me about her and they brave way she campaigned and he said she is super intelligent. He wants me to be like her as emulate her virtues and be unstoppable. Dad said the election was fraught with irregularities that's why she didn't win so I can imagine my dads face now that she won the tribunal. There is hope for this country after all.
