Nigerians On Twitter React To President Buhari's Ministerial List #WhereIsTheChange

The Senate President Bukola Saraki unveiled the first batch of President Muhammadu Buhari's ministerial list yesterday and some Nigerians have taken to twitter since then to tweet their piece of mind and clearly most of them are not happy about it.

Here are some of the tweets:

    1. Does anyone notice that we have been recycling the same leaders since independence? The only major change I see here is in the color of my piss after I drank 7 orijin yesterday. I will never do it again. That being said...I would have voted my neighbor's dog over that incompetent excuse of an ex-president called GEJ (may you rot in hell sir)..so Buhari will just have to do for now. My fellow nigerians, I invite you to shut the fuck up cos if GEJ had still been in power we would have been at Civil War right now. So let us develop an attitude of thanks especially to the almighty who really does love this country and shows it by preservation of life. If half of what happens here happened elsewhere the country would have evaporated. #saibuhari and all your bitchass ministers.

    4. If Buhari like he should appoint man wit walking stick, jonathan appointed young people wat is d out come? dimeji bankola was youngest speaker during obasanjo Pls Wat is d out come? Wat matter most is honest, good nigeria, real change and well do job. There is a proverb dat say horse from behind look after d step of d one at d front. Wen obasanjo was a president is dangerous and corrupt. Wen jonathan was a president is weak, worst, thief and stealing is not corruption in dictionary of giant of African president dictionary, so wat do u expect from their followers? Buhari is a man of honour, dignity, integrity. Stealing is now corruption in term of buhari, his my jailer, people complaining should sit down and look forward for d out come of change. It matter of time. It not by d people he appointed is by d person in charge. I could remember wen I watched jonathan interview on BBC he was asked where 5billion allocation for nigeria military ammunitions every year going, nigeria president said the (information) I heard is dat the things are there but I am not in (charge). Our president live on information and his not in charge of our security, wat a shame. who so ever love any of d ministers tell them new sheriff is in town to b in charge of every thing. stealing is now corruption

    5. Nigerians are always in church, yet they don't understand the fundamentals of the bible.
Who did Jesus christ accept to work with him?
Who was Mary Magdalene? Who was Saul? Who was more loyal than these two? Why wuld he even dine with a tax collector?
This is the time, God can use anyone to bring Change!
All the christian presidents and past Muslim presidents who selected a well applauded team all disappointed the nation.
Let us for once think! Before Buhari came, this is the same way we were chanting how he will islamise Nigeria!!! Fucking Israelites! Full of complain.

    1. I can't explain how pained I am about this list. I was the only one among friends and family who was pro APC. I remember calling home to taunt my mum and siblings when APC won, telling them change is here. I argued endlessly with friends as well, now this? Since yesterday they have been laughing @ me ehn. I feel so heart broken. I woke up sad. I believed 100 percent in this administration, and now this??? I am officially off politics. #whereisthechange#

Except u envisage failure on arrival, I'lld say there's nothing to mock u about just yet. Like u, I'm not totally happy with some people on the list. But eh, if they'll work then fine.

  33. The list is not a confirmation of CHANGE but a continuation of business as usual with current administration. He disappointed us especially people like Audu Ogbeh, recycled politician. Even Amaechi is not suppose to be on that list,if he truly want to fight corruption. I love Amaechi ohh nice guy and lovely guy, BUT........ a lot of answers regarding his past in rivers state. He worked during his first term but messed up 2rd time, patience Jonathan issue is not enough excuse to owe workers. When i see him talk about not being corrupt during his term i just laugh. I will prefer president to give him an ambassadorial position pending his corruption indictment than sloting his name as minister. If he is still given a chance,I would prefer him as minister of education as he did well building schools in rivers during his first term. Fashola has questions to answer,he enriched himself as a former governor. No one is saying don't chop but when you are there just chop small and we mumu naija citizens will back you up atleast chop and work. Lai mohammed is over due to be tested as he has been sounding like "saint obi" the past years, we need to test his ability to perform in government.
Fayemi is a wrong choice very incompetent former governor.
Udoma udo Udoma we need to test him but am sure he will not perform, he didn't perform as a senator if you want to know more ask his ward people.
All we read about him is his advert here on sdk.
Ogbonaya Onu is competent leader and he deserve to be there. Dambazzau is another recycled general and should not be in the list.
Mr President, your ministerial list is a joke to us your supporters, we need technocrats, competent people and new faces not recycled politicians.
Though i hated the list, i still have HOPE with the current administration. I love my New Nigeria.

    1. Nigerians should stop being sentimental about the political parties they support. Constructive criticism should be encouraged. We should be pro - Nigeria rather than pro - APC or pro-PDP.

This list the the joke of the century! The joke is on us the people, who chant #sai baba and #change ! Same ol' jokers and tricksters in office !

The earlier we realise that politicians do not always have our best interests at heart the better. We can only pray the president does the right thing, wish him well and criticise him when he errs.

    2. That's why I like Jaymoore.
Only a brave man can criticise his own.

    3. Could it also be that baba was in a tight corner, as he doesn't want to offend anyone within his party by saying no to those who are dying to become minister. So, baba in his wisdom decided to put their names out anyway, knowing or trusting that the Senate will not validate them. Therefore exonerating himself from their pressure, as he can gladly say 'I chose u but the Senate disqualified u'.
This is me thinking deep into why he presented some men who have integrity/financial issues. A cunny way of getting them off his back.

    4. Jay Moore, really? Hahahahahaha. Finally

  34. The list is more of a compensation for the ppl that worked and brought him into power, there is nothing like change in it, if that list was the list we had to wait four good months for then am not impressed. Nigeria like recycling politicians. Mitcheew

  38. I plan to give special offering this Sunday at church. When I said Buhari was manipulating Nigerians and taking advantage of the fact that we were suffering, my friends and family almost beat me up. See what I said about APC is coming to pass? Where are the Buhari voltrons now? Oya come and do "Sai baba", "Sai Buhari", "Oluwabuhari", "Buharifemi" "Buharitunde". I'm even sure those mocking APC and crying #WhereIsChange on Twitter voted massively for him and are now pretending that they didn't. But why una dey complain? He has only started, nah! Diezani stole just £13 billion and y'all are complaining? LOL. Liar Muhammed, Thief Amaechi and Audu 419 are each going to steal goldmines and take them to Switzerland and you will know that pepper is hot. Mtcheeeeeeeeeeewwwww!!
