PRAYER WORKS

Dear Stella,  

My story goes this way. For about six years i worked in an organisation that underpaid me as in the salary was small and there was no promotion or increament. I started praying to God to give me a miracle. I was praying for husband and promotion. 

God answered men in a miraculousl way. My friend told me about a job and i submitted my cv. Two days later they called me for an interviewed and in less than a week Iater i was called to come pick my offer letter with over 300percent increament. I couldnt stop screaming. 

I havent gotten there yet but God keeps blessing me and i know he will do the rest. I want to pray for all those looking unto God for a job to keep holding on to God. He still answers prayers and i believe that just as he did it for me without stress he would do it for you and give you your own miracle story.

GOD'S REPORT

Hi Stella, hope this meets you well... I joined your blog like six months ago thanks to my kid sis and friend. I am a proud mother to the most beautiful boy on earth, and know he is a miracle and since I am a Catholic, I always try to share my testimony with people I meet being that I can't give the testimony in church. 

I got married ending of 2013, alongside about 5 of my friends. I honestly did not want to get pregnant until after a year because I had a professional exam to write August the following year and I didn't want to have any stress during that period, but two months after I got married, all my friends took in, and my other friends who were not married started to indirectly mock me (you know how it is na). Then I let it get to me and I damned the consequences of getting pregnant before my exams and I started to worry.

 February 2014 I had all the symptoms that suggested I was pregnant, I was very excited, just when I was getting ready to run a test, I started to bleed more than normal. I cried out my eyes, thank God my hubby was there to comfort me. 

After that experience, I had to talk to my self, I reminded myself that God can only give me a child when I am ready to be a mother, and it can only be delayed and not denied. I stopped worrying and concentrated on my exams, despite the mockery that came from close friends. I successfully sat for my exams, after which I started to take some pills to balance my hormones in preparation for pregnancy. The excitement was cut short as my hubby was to travel two weeks after i was done with my exams and won't be back until the first quarter of 2015.

 I silently prayed to God and it was moved to the end of September, meaning I had just one ovulation to get pregnant. We got busy and the time came and went, hubby also travelled. I was so down and disappointed that I didn't take in, so to keep myself busy I took part of my savings and both different baby gifts for my friends who had just given birth and I visited them one after another celebrating their blessings. 

During this period I started feeling serious right side pain and I just told myself it could be stress. It got serious I decided to visit the hospital, I didn't want to go to our family doctor, Maybe cos hubby was not around. I sha found one hospital in my area that had a good Christian name. The minute I stepped my legs into the hospital, my instincts wanted me to leave but I played deaf ears. The doctor carried out a scan on me and told me MY WOMB WAS AT THE BACK AND MY PELVICS WAS BLOCKING IT so he would need to carry out a quick minor surgery to correct this defect. I just told him no, I will not carry out any thing until my hubby comes back, he insisted and gave up when he saw I was adamant. I came back home and cried my eyes out. My mum is late and i knew I needed her badly, well Later that evening I spoke with my Mother inlaw and she shared the word with me (God bless her for me) after which I just found peace. 

Fast forward to 29th September 2014, exactly a week later, I decided to run a pregnancy test since my P didn't start when it should have. And Bam!!!!!! It was positive. I just went down on my kneels and blessed God. I had a stress free pregnancy, I even looked more beautiful and on the 28th of May 2015 God honored my hubby and I with the cutest son ever. 

I hope my testimony can make someone know that God has not forgotten you. It may seem like it won't happen but believe me it will. When those depressing time comes just try to imagine your kids and what you wish for them. I named my son before he was born and imagined him as a pilot. I would always talk to God about him and I know he is a special child from God. May God bless every waiting mother with their own Angel. Amen.
