The ministerial nominee from Kwara state and the National Publicity Secretary of APC, Alhaji Lai Mohammed insisted that he deserved the ministerial nomination from Kwara state which nobody,or group of persons could deny him.
Lai Mohammed in his reaction, to journalists in Ilorin, to counter protest against his ministerial nomination insisted that himself and his family registered in Oro, his hometown, adding that he contributed in no small means to the development of the party in his local government and the success of the member of house of representatives from that area and challenged the protesters to cross check these facts.
The ministerial nominee who admitted that he was not in Kwara state during the elections also said that his national assignment to the party during the period was more important than coming to cast a single vote in kwara state.
He further said that since nobody could deny him of being a citizen of Kwara state, he reserved the right to stay in Lagos or any part of Nigeria and so he deserved the ministerial nomination.
The APC spokesman also explained that the emergence of his son as a member of Lagos state house of assembly was his own political reward for his service to the people of the area which they willingly gave him,and so had nothing to do with his own nomination as a minister.

Of course u deserve it sir.
ReplyDeleteI saw this month at the airport once I was even doubting if he was the same person, he had no guards around him and he posed for pictures with people who asked. All the best to him.
ReplyDeleteThat's lai Mohammed for u. Very calm and humble man. Soft spoken and selfless in nature. I even think that the hustle of being the APC spokesperson is too demanding a job for a person with his kind of demeanour. He's not aggressive enough.. simply put.
DeleteWell....who the cap fits let him wear
ReplyDeleteYou deserve it indeed ,old thieves
ReplyDeleteSee his face like his name....
ReplyDeleteYeah we know you deserve it, you will fit in well as government propaganda machine as you did with your party. We are waiting for your government online if we do not see the needed changes within a year.
ReplyDeleteWe shall not spare them from our criticism.

ReplyDeleteSure he deserves it. He worked for it! Besides, his role for the party before, during & after the elections prepared him adequately for his designated ministry. Big ups to him!
ReplyDeleteOn the flip side, I wish Olisa Metuh could humble himself & go learn from him how to be an opposition spokesman...now that the slot is still up for grabs & tutorials neva start!!!
Ghanaman signing out!!!
