La Mode Magazine put together a fantastic event show on Nigeria’s Independence day October 1st at Peninsula Hotel Lekki an event tagged ‘’Green October Event’’ a fashion show and humanitarian award event aimed at celebrating and showing love to people living with disabilities. The 2015 maiden edition was focused on children living with Down Syndrome in Nigeria.
The great hosts for the event were international Model Tarmar Awobotu and Mr Nigeria Emmanuel Ikubese

Adunni-Oge Couture
The Down syndrome team from United State (USA) and Nigeria were present at the event. The kids weren’t left out as they gave the guests different beautiful performances.Fund raising was done for the children living with Down Syndrome.Lots of amazing guests both foreign and Nigerians were present. Guests Celebrities present at the event are; Bryan Okawara, Adunni Ade, Georgina Onuoha and many more.
LA Mode Magazine presented the Humanitarian Award to deserving Nigerians who in their various space have impacted significantly to humanity. They include;

Partners who went out of their way to ensure that the Green October Event is a success were given certificate of recognition award.
