Some IDPs at the Kuchingoro camp in Abuja, at about 3pm Yesterday, lynched two men to death. The deceased persons were killed by the rampaging IDPs over suspicion that they were part of the armed robbery gang that has been disturbing the camp in the past.
READERS DISCRETION ADVISED
Although their allegations were unconfirmed, they still went ahead to lynch them to death, alleging that they stole some motorcycles, although nobody could point out the said motorcycles they allegedly stole.
Before the police could come from Games Village, the IDPs had burnt the first person to death and were about to deal same with the second dead person, when the police finally arrived.
They used planks, bottles and stones on the victims, before hanging tyres on their head and dousing them with fuel.
This is Barbaric!!!...what if these men are not thieves?
See this silly idps that d society is still trying to help.
ReplyDeleteWho wouldav thought they'd be capable of such an act despite their conditions.
Inshort the partakers of this act should be dealt with approximately
In as much as i pity the living conditions and fate of the IDPs, this is absolutely wrong. They, themselves are heartless for them to have the mind to kill their fellow human this way or is it that their conditions have affected them so bad their heads are getting messed up?
DeleteEven if these guys were guilty, are they worse than boko haram?
Anyway let God judge.
The rate at which people kill their fellow humans is worrisome, is it that they don't value human life at all. Most of these killers have not even killed a mere rat. God biko change the mindset of the evil ones oh.
DeleteOh my God!!!
ReplyDeleteHow do you expect IDPs to act? They feel threatened and acted the only way they know how. They do not have the same protection we have. Let the authorities carry out the investigations and determine the truth. Rest in peace to both men.
ReplyDeleteOh my God!!!
ReplyDeleteEven animals don't behave like some humans I read about these days.
ReplyDeleteWhat if they were innocent???what IF?
Jungle justice.... Mtcheeew
ReplyDeleteI empathise with em cos they have very little only for some wicked people to come and cart away with d little dey have. It's amazing how dey do not have any form of police protection given that they are vulnerable. Nigeria sha smh
DeleteIdps Dat do not know where their next meal is coming from, still lynching?. How are they different from the boko haram that took their homes?
DeleteYou can imagine! Please tell me what's the difference between the perpetrators of this act and boko haram members?
ReplyDeleteIt's so sad the way people act with so much impunity. Some people are too wicked to walk on the surface of this earth.
ReplyDeleteA hungry man is an angry man.
ReplyDeleteWhy would someone steal from IDPs'
The level of poverty in this country is mind boggling.
How did you know they stole? What if they didn't steal? Btw, whatever these people 'stole', wasn't it given to d idps?...
DeleteIrrational behaviour should be condemned and they just murdered sons of someone

Imagine IDPs that should know the value of life having been rescued from death doing such.
ReplyDeleteWe nigerians have lost all our morals and values honestly. People are killed cos they steal food stuff to eat cos of hunger. Its sad.
Hungry man turned angry man situation, I guess. Those people are frustrated, considering their present situation. Didn't BH recently penetrate their camp? I guess that is what has made them alert and brutally defensive.
ReplyDeleteJesus Christ!
ReplyDeleteWhat manner of jungle justice is this? When will we learn not to take the law into our hands??
Even if they were thieves why in God's name should Pple do this. This is pure wickedness and so upsetting

IDPS people are not serious at all, I think they should know better what it feels like to be lynched to death, since they saw their's eye to eye, but were saved my God almighty .They need to be brought to book.
ReplyDeleteI've always said it's better to let the guilty go unpunished than to punish an innocent man... Jungle justice is never the way to go. God help man in his barbaric ways
ReplyDeleteThe mob mentality, pray not to be caught in it. A very bad and wicked spirit that will erase all sense of humanity.
ReplyDeleteThe IDPs are already threatened and feel unsafe, as Sisi Eko said they're brutally defensive.
