Gov (?) Wike's Case Will Be Decided On Today.

The Supreme Court would today deliver judgment in the appeal filed by Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike challenging the jurisdiction of the Rivers State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal to hear the petition against his election in Abuja.

Wike’s counsel, Chris Uche (SAN) had argued that the relocation of the tribunal from Port Harcourt to Abuja is a breach of section 285 (2) of the 1999 Constitution and provisions of the Electoral Act 2010.

The tribunal chairman, Justice Suleiman Ambursa, who led a three-man panel in his judgment on Saturday, cancelled the election of Wike.

  7. Get your fact right! What will be decided today is if the relocation of the Tribunal was legal not the nullification of his election that they are yet to appeal.

  17. I can't speak for other places, but what transpired in Rivers State & Port Harcourt wey I dey stay can not stand as an election in any sane clime of the world, hence there were no elections in both state. In the end, the truth shall prevail.

However, due to the blistering start Wike made on taking residence in the Brick House, I feel he'll still win if a re-run is conducted. I know it's all smokes & mirrors, just to sway the pple in his favour if push eventually comes to shove. He was already expecting a scenario like this.

It's just sad that other indigenes & residents in the state won't be able to read between the lines & vote wisely this time around.

The APC & Dakuku no too good, while the PDP & Wike are bad as well. However, i'll just go for the lesser evils if the choice boils down to both. Ur guess is as good as mine!!!

    1. Seconded.

Again,I hope the threat of terror and bloodshed would not coerce some peeps into voting him.
One is up dere already bragging dere would be bloodshed if Dr Dakuku should win.
See how hooligans just open their mouth anf spew rubbish.

Just hope people are not intimidated.I am also guessing d Fed Govt knows d state is volatile and an army big enough to unseat two Sitting Presidents at a go should be on ground.

Let dose who want blood die by dat violence dey are advocating.
