DeleteFayose dualised this road and tarred it when I was in Unad years back. He was the one who also did dat Odo-eje bridge near Unad which caused hold up and killed countless others. How is he now Suddenly responsible for it's non maintenance when 2 governors have governed before him. No be May he assume office?

Back in those days,there was nothing like dualised road in Ekiti,it was Fayose who came in & started a serious turn around for that state.

ReplyDeleteI schooled in ado ekiti,infact my house was right in front of that of this Nova junction.Fayose started construction on this road from a place called fajuyi during his first tenure before he was impeached.He even stepped on toes when he demolished houses of some key men in ado-ekiti (part of my house inclusive)because of expansion on this road.Segun Oni took over & did nothing before Fayemi was declared winner by court judgement.
So if Fayemi couldn't complete this particular project in 4yrs,Fayose that came in less than 6months ago should be blamed abi.
Ado-ekiti was a horrible place until Fayose came in & started changing things,but he wasn't allowed to complete what he started then.

ReplyDeleteStella, maybe it's been long since you've seen a Nigerian road. This picture doesn't indict Fayose in anyway. Unless I'm missing something. Rain is falling (or has fallen). Water is on the road that barely affects driving. Normal!
