Emir Of Borgu Kitoro III Is Dead

The  Emir of Borgu, Niger State, Alhaji Haliru Dantoro Kitoro III, has reportedly passed on in a German hospital where he had gone for treatment of an undisclosed illness.

Emir Kitoro is said to be one of the most influential monarchs in Niger State whose views were highly regarded while he reigned.

Although no burial arrangements have been announced but trusted sources say he would be  buried immediately his remains arrive Nigeria in accordance with Islamic rites. He was elected into the botched Second Repubic Senate in 1992 under the National Republican Comnventin (NRC).
