El-Rufai Borrows Oshiomole's Slang,Tells Those Not Happy With His Appointments To ''Go And Die''

Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State yesterday replied those accusing him of being biased in political appointments since he assumed office.

The governor told anyone who was not comfortable with his appointments to go and die.

El-Rufai while answering questions at the 4th Town Hall meeting in Kaduna Central, said he could not give appointments to persons who did not vote for him during the governorship election.

His words: “If you are not happy with appointments made, you can go and climb Kufena mountain, fall and die.

“It was what you voted for that you got, because we are aware that there are people who did not vote for us, in fact, they worked against us.

“But now they claim to be APC members and loyal to the party. We know such people. And so, there is no way they would expect anything from us.”

Earlier, Governor El-Rufai unveiled a new logo of Kaduna State saying, henceforth, the state would use its own coat of arms.

“As a reflection of our confidence in the future of Kaduna State, we are today unveiling a new State Logo”, he declared.

    1. Madness displayed by who? The people expecting to be appointed into political posts even though they worked against El-Rufai or El-Rufai who spelled it out explicitly that it will remain a pipe dream?

  16. What a harsh way to talk as a leader. So those that voted him in should be appointed even if they can't do the job like those who didn't vote him in? Issorai. I've forgotten that appointments in Nigeria is based on loyalty to leaders and not competence.

  20. i hope he knows that he is a sickler. for the fact that he did not die earlier does not mean he will not die soon. people like him are supposed to be grateful to God for sparing them.
