Desmond Elliot commends Nigerian Breweries as Gulder presents car to Promo Winner

A law maker representing Surulere Constituency 1 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Desmond Elliot has commended Nigerian Breweries Plc, describing it as a corporate organization that has showed strong commitment to the development of its host community.

The law maker made this remark at the corporate headquarters of Nigerian Breweries Plc, (NB) Iganmu-Lagos while appearing as the guest presenter at a prize presentation ceremony in the ongoing Gulder Ultimate Promo. Hon. Elliot

presented the keys and documents of a brand new Hyundai Elantra to its winner, Chibueze Gift Chukwuoti who emerged winner via a raffle draw held in Port Harcourt recently.

The law maker said the company has not only focused on consumers of its products but has also positively impacted its host community in diverse ways. 

He said apart from providing potable water to its host communities, NB has been actively involved in renovation of schools and provision of other basic social amenities for its host community.

He commended the company for empowering youths through such promos as the one currently embarked upon by Gulder.

Meanwhile, basking in the euphoria of his winning one of the brand new Hyundai Elantra cars in the ongoing Gulder Ultimate Promo, Chibueze in a feat of excitement described Gulder beer as ‘Ekwueme’. Ekwueme in Igbo language is used to describe someone who fulfills his or her promises. Chibueze who made the remark while receiving his brand new car said he was overwhelmed with joy given his new status as a car owner.

The University of Nigeria graduate of Medical Rehabilitation/Physiotherapy emerged winner of the brand new car in a raffle draw held in Port Harcourt recently. He said he decided to try out the promo when he saw the attractive prizes to be won and fortunately for him, he was picked in a raffle draw as the winner of one of the brand new cars. 

Narrating how the journey for him began, he said; “I was on my way to apply for internship. I am a fresh graduate from the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus. I was in the car travelling to Nnamdi Azikwe Teaching Hospital when I saw a big billboard on the road saying “Millions of people will win big”. After some time, I saw that the poster was everywhere and I now read the details and found out how to go about it before I sent the text. In fact I wish I can reverse the hands of time to the night I was called that I won, so I can relive that experience. I was so excited and happy. I give God the glory”.

According to him; “I am going to show people that Gulder is the brand that says it and does what it says. In my local language, we say ‘Ekwueme’. That is, they are people who say and they do”, he said.

Speaking at the prize presentation ceremony in Lagos, Marketing Manager, Emmanuel Agu, Marketing Manager, Gulder, 33, Life, More and Stout category, Nigerian Breweries said Nigerian Breweries Plc, brewers of Gulder lager beer is a socially responsible organization that delivers on its promises no matter how seemingly big those promises may be. Mr. Agu said more prizes including cars, consumer electronics and other gift items can still be won in the promo that will last till November 30, 2015. He called on consumers to take advantage of the promo.

More winners are expected to emerge as the Gulder Ultimate Chase train moves to Ibadan on October 10, 2015 at the Lekan Salami Stadium. Those in Benin will have their turn on October 17, 2015 at Ogbe Stadium while the Benin raffle draw will be held on October 18, 2015. Those in Lagos will equally be rewarded on October 24, 2015 at the National Stadium while the raffle draw will hold on October 25, 2015. The Gulder Ultimate Chase will hold in Owerri on November 7, 2015 at Dan Anyiam Stadium while the raffle draw will hold on November 8, 2015.

The Calabar Ultimate Chase event will hold on November 14, 2015 at the U J Esuene Stadium while Onitsha will host the event on November 21,2015 at the Godwin Achebe Mini stadium. The raffle draw for Onitsha will hold on November 22, 2015.

Five winners of brand new Hyundai Elantra cars have already emerged in the Gulder Ultimate Promo. They are Chuka Nnabuife, Chinedu Odimgbe, Francis Njoku, Chinedu Ifezue and Chibueze Gift Chukwuoti.
