Hmmmm...this Chronicle of hope blesses the name of God!

HE RAISED ME UP......

Dear Stella,

I just wanted to share this testimony in hopes that it would encourage someone out there.

"I will speak of Your testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed" - Psalms 119:46

Today, 25th of October is my birthday and beyond any emotions I feel- happiness, excitement and all, the most overwhelming emotion I feel is Gratitude. To Jehovah God, the One who never sleeps or slumbers. The Keeper of His own. The most Faithful, the most Loving, the I Am That I Am. The Ancient of Days. I salute You. I worship You.

This time last year I celebrated my birthday with friends, not knowing that the devil was waiting je-je and planning something evil. Just 2 weeks after my birthday last year, I was knocked down unconscious by a car. Immediately I went straight into a coma for 3 days. I remember I woke up and didn't know where I was. I was trying to recollect which place- home or work, was painted blue. Couldn't speak, couldn't eat. Just in a state of sleep, wake, think where was I and sleep back. (Thanks to the sedatives and painkillers)

Did you know that the doctors were not sure if I'd live? In addition to multiple internal bleeding I had, I also had a fractured skull, broken bones, and dislocated shoulder. I also could not open one of my eyes.

I heard later that the doctors were planning to shave off my hair and cut open my head, that something was damaged there. They were not sure I would regain my memories at all as I had amnesia. They also said they didn't know if I'd be able to walk again and even if I did, I would have to learn how to walk again, like a little baby. Feeding tube, respiratory tube, catheter for urinating, all were placed in me. What of the pain? That one cannot even be mentioned.

My people cried. My father who I'd never seen cry in my life cried when he heard the news. Mom wanted to die. But you know what, they called all the pastors and prayer warriors in church and serious prayers started. The church where I attend here did constant 24 hour prayer. They appointed someone, pray at 1. You, pray at 2'o clock. You, 3'o clock. They made sure no minute went without someone praying for me for the whole 24 hours in a day. (Thank God for Christians)

Who said God does not answer prayers? Let the person come to me, I'm living proof. The same doctors that said all of that later told us that I was healing fast, that they didn't expect it. They didn't do the head operations. After about 1 week, I regained my memories. My leg had to be in a cast for 6weeks. Just a cast. This was the same leg that they said they didn't know if I would be able to walk again. Now I walk, even catwalk sef if I want lol. My eye is healed, my other fractures and dislocations healed Miraculously.

Blog fam, I am a living testimony that God is faithful to do what He has promised. Me, I was as good as dead. Coma and a brain damage. Where would I be now if not for God? Would I even be celebrating today? I was a sinner that God had mercy on. The woman beside my bed in the hospital was also in an accident and her leg had to be amputated. Was I better than her? Or more holy? It was only God. God and God alone, no other.

Dear reader, what have they said concerning you? Infertility, Failure, Poverty, go to God in prayer. He alone has the final say. He turned my life around and He can do yours as well.

So today, gonna give testimony in church and celebrate and sing of His Love, because His mercies endure forever. Thank You, Jehovah Rapha, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Shalom. The King of the universe, The Alpha and Omega.
