Celebrating The Warriors - Sickle Cell Aid Foundation’s 2015 Fundraiser #SoldieringOn

...Before the day ends, additional 410 children would have been be born with sickle cell disorder. Over 200 will die before their 5th birthday...they would have lived with excruciating pain and complications, undergone emotional and mental trauma.

The Sickle Cell Aid Foundation (SCAF) isn't silent about this, neither should
you! We are fundraising to raise awareness on sickle cell and also provide access to healthcare for more patients. It is due to our activities that we were recently awarded by the Queen of England , Future Awards Africa and we gained various fellowships.

So join us on the 24th of October 2015 as we fundraise together with our Ambassador, Ms Zahra Buhari, daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari, Dija from Marvin Records, and various other amazing talents. Activities would include music performances, drama, documentaries, auctions and so much more.

N 3,000 – Regular
N 5,000 – VIP

N 150, 000- Table For 8

Join us, because your support is indispensable to achieving our aims.

Both women and men! AS AS is a no no! Am not iin support of checking fetal genotype at 3month and if it's SS u abort the pregnancy but if u must go ahead and marry then u av to be ready to go tru that choice.
Living with sickle cell as a mom and wife ain't easy. So much pains that sometimes u can't take care of ur baby or ur in and out of the hospital.
Am very grateful to God for life and familly,i know mom and dad were ignorant then but what excuse do present couples have???
Sickle cell has no cure, plenty complications and worse off pain to the person and family!
Sickle cell disease can be avoided!
God help all the sickle cell worriors in this battle,Amen

  3. Ladies once you start exchanging numbers with a guy, enquire about his genotype o because some of you can like to spread legs like eagles even at the sound of hello from a guy. Let's do the right thing please. God keep all the warriors and I hope in the near future matters like this would be a thing of the past

  10. Nice initiative..
Love shouldn't always be the basis for marriage..
Other factors like genotype has to be considered so as to avoid bringing innocent kids to the world just to suffer and then finally die with unfulfilled dreams and destiny..

  14. An uncle n his wife has four kids. 2 boys n two girls. One girl and the two boys are SS. They went for test before marriage but people believe the wife and her lab tech friend manipulated the result because the man is very rich. Now,all their money is going towards keeping these kids alive. The wife,a teacher is the shadow of herself now,so also the husband.
