Former President Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday narrowly escaped death by a whisker along the Lagos – Ibadan expressway while on his way to Lagos from Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital for a social function.
Sunday Mirror gathered that one of the rear tyres of the SUV conveying the former president to the 80th birthday celebration of mogul and pool magnate, Sir Kessington Adebutu, in Lagos suddenly burst when it entered one of the bad portions of the expressway.
SDK Insiders revealed that even on Saturday before the trip started, the bad tyres adorning Obj's SUV stood out like a sore thumb and it is shocking that nobody paid notice to it!
Baba is a very busy man but i am sure that from now on he will find time to change his tyres please!
Thank God for sparing his life.
