Akpabio Denies Being Arrested By EFCC.

Senate minority leader and former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Godswill Akpabio has refuted claims that he was arrested by the Economic Financial Crimes Commission EFCC today as earlier reported.




…It was reported that Akpabio, was arrested and taken in by EFCC operatives at about 5.20 pm.
He was said to have been accompanied a few aides and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, Ricky Tarfa.

The senator posted on his official twitter handle few minutes ago saying he was not arrested and he has nothing to hide….

    1. well well.. whichever way he went there is not the real topic.. lets just discuss how true or untrue the allegation of 101.8biilion that was stolen.. yeah that's what we should be talking about... and again i have zero respect and recognition for those touts.. called efcc.. thieves of no nation.. i have sent severe petitions to the presidency and icpc already.. they should probe, prosecute, jail all the culprit (staffs) of the efcc who stole our N2.1TRN.. and the scrap the useless agency.. what a waste of time and resources..obj almost didn't get anything right
