Please this is off topic. I made an observation. The Jim Iyke baby post and Anna Banner's pregnancy post were back to back and I couldn't help but notice the sharp difference in the trend of comments. Jim Iyke was being hailed and BVs were saying things like Oh congrats Jim you're now a man bla bla bla. On Anna's post however, she was insulted and called all manner of names for doing the exact same thing Jim did. My question is, is it ok for a man to have a kid out of wedlock but not for a woman? Baby daddies are hailed while baby mamas are shamed? And these comments were mostly from women. So when our sisters make mistakes, we shame them and publicly stone them while we hail the men? We need to change. Women, be your sisters keeper. Encourage and lift one another up. On this Same blog when chronicles of pregnant girls come in, same women will be shouting don't abort. Student accommodation Project In Awka

By the grace of God, I plan to embark on a student accommodation project soon and I would like to seek the opinions of your readers. ARIK AIR ATROCITY

My dad was to arrive to the uk today. But he is sick so my sister decided that it would be stressful if he takes the ABC bus from Owerri to Lagos, hence she booked a 9.15am flight from Arik which if things go as planned was to land at Lagos by 10.15am for my dad to be able to catch his 2.30pm emirates flight.

 My dear Stella, my dad skipped breakfast was at Sam Mbakwe airport at 7am  for his 9.15am flight. Arik air now decided to delay his flight by 4 hours without prior notice. We rallied round, made phone calls but Emirates said there was nothing they could do about it and that we had to pay penalty fee of about £547.

I went to arik air facebook page to lay my grievances, since they were not picking my calls nor returning my emails. The response I got was that I should go to the station manager who would take necessary actions to assist my dad.  

Ngwanu my dad with the help of a friend I contacted went to the office and all they could say was that my dad missing his flight was not their problem as he booked with emirates and not with Arik so they were not going to help him. This time it was getting to past 7, now Stella, my dad is hypertensive coupled with crippling arthritis who had not eaten since morning. We have booked another flight for him but I don't want let this pass. Why would a Nigerian run airline treat Nigerians in that manner? With no regards? Like a piece of garbage? Why won't other airlines assault Nigerians with impudence? Why is Nigeria like this?
