Timi Alaibe Finally Joins Bayelsa Guber Race

At the last count, 13 persons have  obtained the expression of interest and nomination forms to vie for the  ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC, ahead of  the December 5 Bayelsa State governorship election. Prominent amongst them is  a  former Managing Director of the  Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Mr. Timi Alaibe.

His entry into the race may have altered the equation. It  may also rattle  incumbent Governor  Seriake Dickson. Sunday Vanguard was present when Alaibe returned his expression of interest and nomination forms  to the APC National Headquarters on Thursday.

Perhaps, the import of his legacies at the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, had never dawned on him until Monday last week. On that day, his people from Bayelsa State stormed the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in  Abuja to purchase  the  expression  of  interest and  nomination  forms  for the governorship election  in  the state for him.

As  a  former Managing Director of  the NDDC, Mr. Timi Alaibe spent time and deliberately articulated programmes and polices that rubbed off positively on the nine states of  the Niger Delta.

    1. The man is a criminal and should be probed. Because APC is desperate to win Bayelsa state, they let a known looter join their party and allow him contest for a political position under their name?

Nigerians are shameless hypocrites and that is why that country will remain the way it is for a very long time. If you like pray, quote bible and call on Jesus till you are blue in the face, unless you genuinely change your ways, nothing will change. You can't deceive God. You can't do eye service for him. You cannot lie to him. That is why he continues to abundantly bless Europeans, North Americans, Australians, Asians etc, because they say and do things according to how they really believe. If they feel God does not exist, they say it without fear. Fortune ALWAYS favours the brave. No need to go around quoting scriptures and calling God's name in every sentence meanwhile your heart is as black as coal and your are evil and vile to your fellow countrymen. Epic jokers doomed to fail over and over and over again!

  10. Yes he is with the money belonging to the people of Niger delta. Politicians be acting real nice with public funds; the people turn a blind eye to the backwardness in their environment.

  12. Timi will win Bayelsa governorship election, he is a grass root politician as his former position impacted his people. He don't need to spend much cash during election because billionaires he created in Niger Delta as NDDC chairman through NDDC inflated contracts will support him.
