The Genevieve PinkBall Foundation (GPF) is proud to announce her second annual Run/Walk/Cycle for Breast Cancer awareness event which is set to hold on October 24, 2015 at the Church of Divine Mercy playground, Admiralty way, Lekki Phase 1 by 7am.
Last year, GPF set out with an initiative tagged: ‘The 100 Patient Challenge’. This initiative was birthed with the intent to reach out to Nigerian women who have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer and cannot afford the costs of treatment. GPF promised to provide Surgery, Chemotherapy treatment and Radiotherapy treatment to these 100 patients.
So far, 6 women have benefited from this initiative. We look forward to raising more awareness (and funds too) through the Run/Walk/Cycle and in turn, adopt more patients.
