Senator Admits To Tribunal On Losing Ward, LG But Wins At Zone!

LMAO!!!...You need to read this!

Senator Gershom Bassey, representing Cross River Southern Senatorial District at the Senate, has confessed at the election petitions tribunal sitting in Calabar that he lost election at his electoral unit, ward and local government council but won at the zone.

Speaking under cross examination at the tribunal, yesterday, in a case brought against him by Senator Bassey Otu of the Labour Party (LP), Gershom said he won the election in Calabar Municipality, Calabar South, Bakassi, Akpabuyo, Odukpani, Akamkpa and Biase.

Counsel to Senator Otu, Mr. Essien Andrew (Esqr), said there were controversies surrounding the election in Biase and Akamkpa which paved the way for Senator Gershom to win.

However, after all parties presented their witnesses, the chairman of the tribunal, Justice Christopher Awubra, adjourned the case to September 29 for submission of written addresses.

What happened was simply magic...Nigerian magic!

    2. Why do u guys sound so ignorant? How many LG and wards make a constituency? That he admits to have lost his ward and LG doesn't mean he didn't have a single vote that cumulatively made him win with votes added from other wards within his constituency.
If u wanna talk politics, have ur facts and knowledge about it. Don't be so quick to make a post about it. It's pretty embarrassing....

  5. D same pattern of winning by Dormant Senator Gil. Nnaji representing Enugu East Senatorial zone. Lost in his ward, LG. He used one LG ( Isi uzo) , to defeat former Senator Chimaroke Nnamani in five LG. Yet to understand how a LG in a rural area defeated someone who won in d three LGs dat made up d state capital ( Enugu East, Enugu South n Enugu North) & two other LGs. It is only in 9ja dat d more Yu look d less Yu see is possible.
