      My brothers wife does not work. She can tie wrapper on her chest from morning till night. Even if we buy her shorts and top she won't wear. That woman too bush. Na so she leave body fat full everywhere.

      It's a matter of time and money. When you wake up to prepare hubby food, bathe d 2 kids, prepare them for school, come back to clean, wash dish, clothes, toilets, BROWSE SDK, eat, pick kids from school, have ur bathe and cook before hubby comes back. Sometime you shop too. When do one now have time to be you. A lot of single girls will say it's the I am now a Mrs dats causing it. For one to remain sexy, u will need help and money. I use to be size 10 before marriage, now am 14. To register in a gym for a month is 6k, I will make my hair o, I use to have time for pedicure n manicure but can't do that now. I hardly sleep for 3 straight hours, my baby must wake up to eat at night. People just don't understand. But when you have the money and necessary help. I can't go for road walk on Saturdays like I use to before marriage cos no one to drop my kids with. I really don't tie wrapper around but at night I do and when once it's 7 am, I change into a short but my hair net remains. Don't judge us

      Biko am so so guilty oh. It's just the stress of work and all that. Imagine getting home same time with DH, then I have to enter kitchen cook dinner at the same time cross check kids home work. DH will just lie in the room till food is ready. Meanwhile I want to be comfortable oh as in no clothe for body so I tie wrapper. But now sha I don't do the wrapper again use free dresses. And no I am still my same size but just slightly big stomach.

      Stella, don't forget to address the women (mostly older ones) who try to shame you once you're married by saying things like "don't you know you're now a married woman?" Or "no respectable married woman should be dressing like this" etc. and a lot of young wives fall into their box with them not realizing that even though they are older and more experienced with marriage; but their predisposition on how to dress and behave once married has contributed highly to their husbands' slutty ways and chasing of younger fresher girls around (even though there's no excuse whatsoever for the men to step out on their marriages). But the wives' complete transformation into drab, boring, wrapper tying, 'I must die in church while tying scarfs tightly round my ears just because I'm now married to show that I'm a virtous woman/marriage material attitude' is definitely not helping things at all. You can still dress fine and sexy after marriage. "Slutty" is what to avoid here. Hell, avoid "slutty" even while you're single.; you can be sexy without exposing or squeezing anything out, just don't confuse the two and add class. Especially if that's what hubby loves. Stop listening to the women whose husbands were chasing you just before you got married, history might just repeat itself with you too if you act like them. A word is enough for the wise. I'm even listening to my own advise as I type. Lol.......... Just Me

      It depends, my hubby prefarres me tieing wrapper than wearing shorts,leggins or jeans( especially while going out) but I like them n I still prefer them

    That is it for most of the "Married" women....
    They feel they ve achieved their life goals,which is getting married;and hence anything can now go for them...
    Talk about when they give birth to A child;thats just the life achievement for them as well..you now see all the "Grand-mama" attitude in them..

    They now start tying "wrappper" only on their body and walking about;carrying their hair for months without at least "Washing" it, some wont even bother taking A shower after entering the kitchen and hence "the onion smell" as i call it would start taking over the whole house...their respective husband cant even see the "sexy" lady he was dying to have years ago in them(wife) anymore..and hence some men would prefer going out for most of the young girls out there again(thats quite awkward/foolish as well)...

    Yes i know being A wife/mother comes with A lot of duties but there is definitely nothing wrong in looking sweet and sexy for yourself and for your DH...at least i know most men out there aint even proud to take their wife out there in the public,talkmore more of going to event etc and presenting them as "their Wife"...cos they think her sense of dressing/fashion is all dead after they ve gotten married...

    With all said;its left for every woman out there to still have A little sense of fashion after being married..there is nothing wrong in going for shopping like once in A while and get something sexy to wear at home and while going to bed;at least
    that would keep the man "always in the mood" for you..**wink**

    Finally;A man that would look outside for other women would surely do that..but do all these for your own sake and happiness..not necessarily for your Man...

    There's one I know. Ever since she got married, she took on the name, dishevelled, along with her new surname.

    Her excuse is that she has three little children.

    But then,she always was that way,so I guess most women that are guilty of letting themselves go when married, had always had the tendencies.

    I am not married yet but I just lost over 20kg and there is this my colleague that we were of the same size before I lost weight, she's married with two kids though. While everyone in the office seems to go "Wow, good job", "You look fab", she goes "I am waiting till you marry and start having kids, thats when i will say you have really tried".

    This scares me a lot because i really put a lot into this weightloss ( stopped eating my loads of junk and exercising everyday), I start to think so i am going to gain all the weight back if i marry and have kids?

    But then i tell myself since i know what works for me now, I would do it again when If I gain weight when I have kids.

    Ohk..this is beginning to sound like a weightloss tale from a single "formerly fat" girl. I would not mind maintenance tips from people who have done this before sha.

      No fear dear. When you marry and get pregnant, you might add weight. Just make sure you eat sensibly while pregnant. You will then eat even more sensibly when you deliver.     I can remember being 60kg - 65kg steady in uni. I was 75kg when I got married and this week, I weighed 95kg and still counting. No, scratch that - not still counting. I have stopped the clock. That weight clock must now start ticking backwards all the way back and down to 75kg. Ha! This xmas must not pass me by.... I must be a lepa shandy by fire by force.

    On a lighter note, I do not tie wrapper around d house oh!! I have gained weight yes but we never reach tying wrapper around house mata.....

    I remember when I was single and I see some married women looking bleh I always tell myself I'd never be like that lol.
    I got married a size 8, a lot of hardwork went into that...by the time I got pregnant and bled a bit during pregnancy, the dr stopped me from exercising. I started craving all sorts. Even eba that I hate choi. Ice cream n chocolate that I loathe became a staple.
    I had the baby, I was determined to lose the weight. By the time baby blues, exhaustion, postnatal anxiety plus a very challenging baby slap slap me, all thoughts of losing weight flew out the window.
    Baby is bigger now and I'm better now so I've started running again and the weight is dropping.
    My mom forced a couple wrappers on me to back my baby cos I don't own any, so I back my baby which those. I don't tie them cos..,yuck. I don't own nets. I hate that contraption. I have a couple silk scarves I use.
    Doing hair and nails is a challenge I undertake every month. I make up when going out, sometimes. My bum shorts don't fit yet cos I refuse to buy fat clothes. Shout out to all sahm. Not easy but we are pushing.

    i am not going to come here and lie, i've been married for less than a year, used to look super hot! the first few months but right now i am in my first trimester and i am constantly nauseous and tired, make up never touch my face for more than a month now except the occasional compact powder, perfume nko? that one na no go area cos even something as mild as airfreshner triggers vomiting for me making me weaker, thank God my skin looks better in pregnancy and my hubby seems to find me a lot more attractive cos the sex is more frequent these days, its d 'no lipgloss' and 'no fragrance' thing that pisses him off. He knows i am constantly feeling cold so to bath for night na war, what he does is to boil water for me to encourage me, and i was one girl that really cared about my looks, i am just 24 years old oh!
