Nigerian Men Nabbed in Australia With Over 40kg Of Drugs Concealed In DVD Players

The Australian police have arrested two Nigerian men, Chibuike Anyasor and  51-year-old Iwuchukwu Odemegwo for allegedly importing more than 40 kilograms of methamphetamine which they concealed inside bar fridges and Jackie Chan-branded DVD players.

Report on Daily Post has it that the duo appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday.

The police reportedly described Anyasor as a key figure in the drug importation syndicate.

Anyasor was however, charged with importing and attempting to possess methamphetamine.

Odemegwo, on the other hand, reports say was charged for attempting to be in possession of commercial quantity of methamphetamine.

They are however to face maximum penalty of life imprisonment if found guilty.

  1. Do people not watch Border patrol or dey don't do their investigations before carting off drugs to Australia. Even with food items, Australia is so strict, they don't play with even counterfeit stuff much less drugs. Iv seen a lot of Nigerians caught with counterfeit in that country. Very soon money maker or kobo maker will start making stupid comments. I just shake my head for ur country ppl, you people no dey take last when it comes to illegal stuff. I'm not saying other tribes don't misbehave o, but u ppl be expert at illegal stuff. Be it 419, drugs!nna no dey carry last.
