New traffic law regarding driving of Trucks during the day has commenced in Lagos.
Below are pictures of trucks plying the road during the day (Yesterday) being impounded by the police. The line of seized trucks stretched between Barracks bus stop and Alaka in Surulere.
This is horrible!...See how they blocked the roads!
Do these trucks even have an open space where the park?...just wondering!
Na waah.
ReplyDeleteTerrible
DeleteTrucks still move about in Ikorodu ooo.maybe the law is not meant for Ikorodu truck drivers
DeleteYeah, they have an open space where they park. By the roadside.
ReplyDeleteI hope this law will be a long lasting one.
ReplyDeleteOh! I thought they were protesting. So they were seized
ReplyDeleteIt is stubbornness to adjust to reality that is causing all these
ReplyDeleteStella who told you they were impounded by the police? This type of situation occurred last year same time too and people found it very difficult to get to the office and also go home.
ReplyDeleteHope u got ur facts rights? Because of they were really impounded, was last year own too impounded?
Well just have in mind that some lagosian will always break those rules as long as it's not Fashola.
You never see something. Monday and tuesday were horrible. Esp. Monday. It stretched all the way down to Maryland. It was that bad. But yesterday it eased off a bit in the evening.
ReplyDeleteGot home at about 9:35 pm on Monday nite.
DeleteI felt soooooo bad.
Wicked truck drivers
ReplyDeleteVery wicked
DeleteThey should impound all vehicles that feel they can break d law, small headed truck drivers-lol
ReplyDeleteVery good move, wish other states will follow them. These trucks re bad news.
ReplyDeletetruck drivers and ATTITUDE! tufia!
ReplyDeletethey should be made to undergo serious physical and spiritual therapy, then community development afterwards like cutting grass in an open field just like some traffic offenders did one time like that
Hahahahahaha
DeleteYou're right, walahi!
Hahhahaha
DeletePipi oooo!
You are right!
Pipi lee spot on!
DeleteBwahahahahahahaha @cut grass.
Lol @ spiritual therapy
DeletePolice go take this one hammer seriously. Well I saw a trailer park just before entering Lagos a few days ago. So I believe they do have a park but the question is, will the drivers pay?
ReplyDeleteGood for them. They always behave asif they are above the law.
ReplyDeleteUseless things.

Nigerians with their non-adherence to instructions attitude. Serves them right!
ReplyDeleteUnfair
ReplyDeleteNice one!
ReplyDeleteLagosians are so disobedient.
ReplyDeleteSimple instruction,them no go hear.
How are they Lagosians?
DeleteBiko, go and educate yourself.
Majority of them are from outside Lagos.
Trucks from the Northern region are more in the line up. Very annoying drivers. Traffic curled up at Maryland like the witches were holding their National Convention. Mtscheeeew.
Deletegood!!!
ReplyDeleteThat rule should be applied in the whole of Nigeria not just Lagos state alone.
ReplyDeleteNice..
ReplyDeleteAmbode is working..
Transportation, Healthcare, and Education sectors are the worst in Nigeria. Bet it's gonna take centuries to clean the mess in those systems up. #IMO
ReplyDeleteGood.
ReplyDeleteI thought they went on strike?.....lol
The government should do everything legally possible to make that ban binding and permanent abeg.
Too much deaths caused by trailers.
The only downside is that these impoundments will cause crazy traffic gridlocks.
