Lagos Government Impounds Trucks Plying Lagos Roads During The Day

New traffic law regarding driving of Trucks during the day has commenced in Lagos.

Below are pictures of trucks plying the road during the day (Yesterday) being impounded by the police. The line of seized trucks stretched between Barracks bus stop and Alaka in Surulere.

This is horrible!...See how they blocked the roads!
Do these trucks even have an open space where the park?...just wondering!

Well just have in mind that some lagosian will always break those rules as long as it's not Fashola.

they should be made to undergo serious physical and spiritual therapy, then community development afterwards like cutting grass in an open field just like some traffic offenders did one time like that

  11. Police go take this one hammer seriously. Well I saw a trailer park just before entering Lagos a few days ago. So I believe they do have a park but the question is, will the drivers pay?

    2. Trucks from the Northern region are more in the line up. Very annoying drivers. Traffic curled up at Maryland like the witches were holding their National Convention. Mtscheeeew.

  15. That rule should be applied in the whole of Nigeria not just Lagos state alone.

  17. Good.

I thought they went on strike?.....lol

The government should do everything legally possible to make that ban binding and permanent abeg.

Too much deaths caused by trailers.

The only downside is that these impoundments will cause crazy traffic gridlocks.
