The Police Headquarters in Abuja recently paraded one Faith Nuhu and five others who specialised in child kidnapping and sale of children.
The suspects, among them, a medical doctor, were arrested after Faith Nuhu, kidnapped three of her sister’s children but ended up selling two of them at N600,000 to one Evelyn Ojiaku, who operates an illegal maternity home at Owerri, Imo State.
The kidnapped children, Grace Musa Idris, aged 13, Philip Musa Idris, 3, and Paul Musa Idris, were allegedly kidnapped by Faith from their home in Kafachan, Kaduna State on the pretext of going to buy them biscuits.
According to The Sun Newspaper, Faith who is an aunt to the children was said to have immediately taken the children to the motor park, where she boarded a vehicle to Owerri.
But on the way, she dumped the eldest of the children, Grace, who they felt was too old and intelligent to understand when things go wrong along the Abuja-Jos highway and continued with the two other children Philip and Paul.
However, help came the way of the young girl after some motorists, who saw her wandering stopped asked her what she was doing alone on the busy road.
After narrating her story, they gave her lift and reported the matter to the nearest police station, where policemen on duty made contacted with her parents who in turn showed up to pick her up.
The suspect was later arrested through police analytical tracking system. After her arrest, the suspect confessed to the police that she was not alone in the kidnap business and led the police to other members of her gang in Edo and Imo state.
Other members of the gang include Chigozie Goodwill, Mrs. Evelyn Ojiaku, John Ojiaku, Elizabeth Onyemaobi, and Dr. Amadi Godwin Uzoma.
When the suspects were paraded before newsmen at the Force headquarters Abuja, the Force Public Relations Officer said one of the suspects, Evelyn Ojiaku operates a private hospital, Royal Maternity/Clinic and child service around the Umuyi Akaba Ikeduru, off Kilometer 6, Owerri-Okigwe, road and also engages in sale of children.
The police also revealed that the woman had earlier bought a day old baby belonging to Faith Nuhu, for N100,000 and that she operates her illegal maternity home with the connivance with one of her sons, John Ojiaku.

I was going to send u a mail regarding this very weird story, hoping that you would make it into a post so that anyone who has experienced it, or who knows anyone in their web, can say something.

The story goes that this woman who has been waiting on God for a child was approached by her friend that she knows some people who can help her get pregnant through the use of herbs. This lady friend of hers who made the suggestion, claimed that she also used the same people and their herbs to get pregnant. So naturally, the woman seeking to get pregnant showed keen interest and she was introduced to these people who come to lagos from PH.

DeleteShe said that their meeting point is usually a hotel around ikeja. Which is where she and many other women meet them up. She further explained that at first, they asked her to deposit 250,000 naira as the fee for the procedure that'll get her pregnant. The procedure is that at first, they'll give you some herbal concoction and a particular seed, which they won't allow you to touch or see. She explained that they'll tell you to open your mouth and then give you water to swallow it. After which you'll have sex with your husband and then get pregnant immediately.
The woman claimed that after she took the seed, she became pregnant the same month. But it doesn't end there. She said out of excitement, she went to the hospital to confirm through a scan whether or not she was pregnant. Even though the syndicates had earlier informed her that no matter which hospital she goes, they'll never see the baby in her tummy. That they are the only ones that can see the baby... and she can't deliver the baby in the hospital but with them. True to it, this woman went to the hospital, and to her utmost amazement the doctor told her that there was no baby in her stomach. Yet, she had all the signs that she was pregnant, she was going through the phases of a pregnant woman.

DeleteShe went back to these people, who usually move around from one hotel to another, to complain that her doctor insists that she isn't pregnant. They rebuffed it and gave her the confidence that she was really pregnant, that in 9months she would have her baby. This woman said that she was worried that everyone around her will be questioning the authenticity of her pregnancy status, as well as her husband who was aware of the whole thing. So to make her happy they gave her another herb which made her stomach start to protrude and grow like that of a pregnant woman'.
Trouble started when 9months came and the syndicate informed her that to take delivery of her baby, she would have to pay them 2.5million naira. That otherwise she would remain pregnant. The woman said she became troubled and wondered where they want her to find such an amount, and besides, they didn't tell her that she would pay anymore money other than the 250k she paid earlier.
In her quest to find a solution she started to investigate these people. She was able to find other women who had their babies through them, and who also confirmed that indeed, once you are 9months gone, they'lld give you a certain herb that'll put you into labour. And that within minutes you'll birth your baby. Infact Stella, to buttress this woman's story another woman came up to corroborate the gist. She on the other hand has 2kids through the same means, and is presently pregnant with her 3rd as well.

She said that she's also stuck with the last pregnancy due to funds issues. Both women say that they cannot afford the 2.5 M that these group of people from PH are asking for the deliveries of their babies. And the onus is on them to prove to friends and families that they really got pregnant and birthed these babies.
Now the question is, whether anyone has ever seen babies come out of these women's Vagina, or whether they are sedated and then given babies as though they birthed them truly. The woman who had her 2kids from them claims that her babies came out from her Vagina truly. (which I personally doubt). But if true, how are these people able to give them herbs to get pregnant, and no medical practitioner is able to use a scan to see the babies?? And then how come they are given a particular seed to swallow to induce labour? And lastly, why do the syndicates, if genuine, change their location at every meeting?
I personally think that they sell babies to these women but make them think that they really birthed them. Stella, one of these women has submitted herself to DNA test to ascertain whether her 2 kids came from her womb truly. That's what we are waiting to hear.. the result of that test will clear all doubts. And she also called for the authorities to scrutinize the syndicates, even though she's been a beneficiary of their services. She still thinks that there's more to it than meets the eye. I find the case rather baffling.

After 9 months (could be less/more) when they pay up, they schedule the fake labour (induced with drugs) to coincide with that of one of the girls in the baby factories they also operate. I think they knock the women out during the fake labour, make the room messy and hand them over the baby who may have been born within that week or to. They even give these defrauded women episiotomy so they would believe they had a vaginal birth. The teen mother (who owns the baby and consented) is settled and life continues.
