Social media is on fire over the news of a 19 - year old woman who was earlier this month arrested, for using her urine to cook for the family she works for as a maid.
The maid who said she was maltreated by her boss’ family took vengeance on the entire household by using her own urine to prepare meals for the household without them knowing.
According to the report on starr fmonline.com, Modern Kenyan Corps, said that the girl was caught by a hidden camera installed in the house by her boss to monitor her activities in their absence.
The Mombasa based family’s decision to have the camera installed, was influenced by news of homeowners catching their helps in cruel and absurd acts in their absence.
“They were shocked to see the girl urinating in a pot of soup she was preparing.”
She confessed to Mombasa police her actions are in vengeance for being maltreated by the family.

I have OCD when it comes to food. From the prep to the cooking has to be done in a certain way, so nobody cooks for me. When my mum is around, the only thing she's allowed to cook is Nsala soup. We end up quarreling cos I scrutinize her methods. She'll just shake her head and say in ibo 'oya gi a adika na'

I can give over 30 instances where bosses make their maids suffer,the type of sufferness u'll never ever imagine eg all these pple r ladz & & they're not even ready to put their children in order,they make their maids do everything just becos they pay them peanuts & it is really bad. I av a friend who is so lazy dt she cannot even wash own underwear,her daughter is worse than her,her house maid does everything yet she does not give her breakfast if its not past 12pm when she & her daughter wld av eaten abt 3times & this girl ll be working. She curses the maid & her 9yr old daughter does the same thing oo. Imagine dis,girls like dis becomes too bitter eventually & the next evil dt comes to their minds is wot they do,although I don't subscribe to being wicked BUT we can also enlighten ourselves on how to relate with them,we shld all know dt they're in dis situation bcos of circumstances beyond their parents control. Also we're not God & the only constant thing is change,no situation or condition is permanent. Also note that if we treat them gud,there won't be cause 4 them think abt doing us bad. I believe that a person who doesn't already have the inclination to be evil and wicked cannot be compelled to be even when pushed to do so. It is a heart that's been nurturing wickedness that can amplify the act at the slightest provocation. There's always an alternative in life, and that is to remove yourself from a toxic environment when it's no longer conducive. Now, what the oga may have done wrong to her won't be talked about again, it's her wickedness that people see and will condemn.

ReplyDeleteAll the people talking about maltreated maids let me hear word, they can leave their legs are not tied to the house/family. There's loads of farming that can be done they should go and farm. See her thick body, she will eat, sleep in air conditioned rooms, use well kept toilets, watch dstv as if they glued her eyes to the television and still get paid. Compared to the life they left in the village their jobs are a luxury . In my experience if you behave well as a house help you are treated well but when you decide to be a demon then the employers can equally be evil.

I am my most polite in restaurants and if I had a helper I would be the kindest I could be. Not messing with anyone who is cooking my food, NEVER!
