I have these handmade beads (made by me) which i want to sell off. The beaded jewelries are made of traditional coral beads, swarovski crystals and other precious beads. The beaded jewelry come in sets which includes earrings, necklace and bracelet and are packed in beautiful jewelry boxes.

Used Science Secondary School Textbooks Needed

Good Day Mrs Stella. God bless you for the good works you've been doing, please can you kindly spare me a space in the IHN.

I'm an orphan, a student of Transekulu Girls Secondary School Enugu, I'm 18yrs and still in SS1 due to circumstances beyond my reach. I'm an only child and lost my parents at a very tender age so I had to go live with my grandma. My grandma is the type that believes all girls would end in the kitchen and so she's not bothered with giving me a quality education. After my primary school she was reluctant to enrol me into a secondary school, i stayed at home for 3 years until our new neighbour who took me as her little sister enrolled me and has been the one providing my school books and other school needs until I also lost her to death (accident)3 months ago, it's as if life is determined to frustrate me. I'm willing to learn but don't have the resources. During the holidays I was able to work and save some money for my school fees but to my disappointment my school fees has been increased from 3,000 to 4,850, i need to sew new school uniform as I'm

 entering a senior class (skirt), my school bag and sandals are worn out but my major problem now are my textbook, we've been told that we'll have to compile our own notes and for doing my assignment. I'll be needing the following:-

1. Intensive English 3rd edition

2. New General Mathematics

3. New School Physics by  Ababio

4. New School Biology by  Ababio

5. New School Chemistry by Ababio

6. Four Figure Table

7. Periodic Table

8. Scientific Calculator.

I'm begging well meaning bvs to come to my aid, please if you have this textbooks that your children used while in secondary school kindly spare me as I can't afford a new own for myself.

I have no hope of furthering my education to the university level but if I could atleast achieve getting O level results I'll be fulfilled.

OUR HOUSE ALMOST CAUGHT FIRE

This fire incident happened yesterday in an estate in Ajah area of Lagos.  We were at home when we heard a loud explosion, next thing smoke filled the house, as we were running around trying to identify the source of explosion and the smoke, we heard our neighbors banging at our gate and screaming fire fire. We rushed outside in confusion and saw that balls of fire has engulfed our house. We opened the gate, and the neighbors already came with fire extinguisher and the fire was put out. The neighbors told us what happened. They said that immediately the PHCN brought light, the transformer near our house exploded and our meter area engulfed into flames. We thank God nobody was hurt and that the fire was put out on time. Thanks to our caring neighbors too. I couldn't take pictures because I didn't remember picture taking at the time of the incident. This picture was taken after the fire had been put out. I advise all family to keep a fire extinguisher in their homes. It helps a lot. And they should also know how to operate it. Because the person that brought the one that was used to put out the fire could not operate it. It was another man that took it from him. We have fire extinguisher in our home, but the neighbor came with his own. PHCN should also do periodic checks on their transformers. We thank GOd no life was lost. It could have been worse.
