Germany And Austria Await More Migrants

Austria and Germany are expecting more migrants to arrive from Hungary after Budapest eased restrictions on their travel.
Throughout Saturday, by bus, train and on foot, people travelled to the Austrian border before moving on to Vienna and Munich, the BBC reports.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel is to hold talks with her coalition partners on a crisis that has divided the European Union.
After days of confrontation and chaos, Hungary opened its borders with Austria and transported thousands of migrants to the frontier.

Up to 10,000 arrived at the border, according to the Austrian authorities, who have said they do not plan to limit the numbers crossing into the country.
Many travelled straight on to Munich, southern Germany, where locals greeted them with applause, giving sweets to the children among the new arrivals.

They have been sent on to reception centres to be registered and receive food and clothing.

The risk involved is too much!

  4. The news and images of the man who lost his family was sad. It was after the man lost his family, that the Canadian embassy offerd him asylum of cause he refused it.
The imigrant don't want to register in Hungary or any other European countries except for Germany and UK.

    1. The truth of the matter is Germany is the only sound country in Central Europe, UK is also a big nation but it's not accessible for them from Hungary coz of sea except through tunnel which isn't easy, hundreds are at Calais already struggling to enter UK and the other countries are Scandinavians but they are quite faraway in the north and believe me Scandinavia countries have lot to offer but they are very careful in taking migrant as they are trying to protect their social system, I wish i could accommodate 1 or two among them.

  5. Stella you live in Germany. What is your personal opinion regarding this issue. How do you think it will affect your life, do you think it will make life better or worse for you, or are you indifferent about the whole thing. It would be nice to hear your view.

    5. Stella With due respect I disagree with u on this, hardly can u find a house in Germany that is more beautiful than houses in lekki not to talk of settlement centers for migrants. What u have there is better environment. Do u also know that houses are more expensive in lekki and other high brow areas in nigeria than in Germany? Post the picture of the house u live in Germany here while I send the picture of my house for BVs to compare!

    9. Good till Muslim hate preachers start flooding the streets near you, and bombs going off in every station in Germany, then you will understand what you are into. Do you know how many ISIS in there? I guess no. If they are really seeking for refuge, why don't they wanna stay in Hungary which is safe or stayed back in Turkey which is equally safe. These are economic migrants, period!

And you saying that they were given houses better than the ones in lekki and vgc you also lie. I live in münchen and u need to see the conditions these people are living in, go to kieferngarten and obersendling u will see for urself you will need to see the dirty conditions they live in. They don't know what to do with these refugees some of them are living in tents in unterhaching. No accommodation, even people wey don get paper never live for houses like vgc and lekki talk less of Asyl. Madam nor be only u dey live for Germany u hear, me sef get my german pass.

    12. Ok...make I talk my own as I also live in Germany and I get German pass, sorry EU pass...*wide grin*
Well, while it may seem morally right for these people to be accepted and provided for, the fears are many.

Firstly, an influx of immigrants like is witnessed into Germany without an equal creation of jobs would be catastrophic. The employment market is yet to accommodate the foreigners living here already. Foreigners in Germany really find it very difficult to get their feet, probably because of the language and because Germany is still a white man's society. This influx would really stretch the employment market and reduce employment wages when there is a high supply of labour with little demand. Just like what happened in the UK when other Europeans, particularly the Polish flocked there. This is partially why David Cameron would never agree to full mbership of the EU. I do not blame him sha.

Secondly, these guys are Muslims( abuse me if you like) but Muslims are known for their crazy behavior. These foreign kids would attend same school like other kids here and then your well-brought up kid, starts exhibiting very bad habits after contact with them...peer influence. Truth is, no white german will ever want their kids attending same kindergarten or school with these kids....I personally send my kids to private catholic schools where you have to present your baptismal certificate before you are admitted.

I also think the solution should not be for them migrating to other countries and causing nuisance, yes nuisance, but getting assistance from the EU, US Army to declare total war on Assad and of course ISIS. And that is my stand....So SDK, whether you agree or not, I am highly uncomfortable with them migrating to Germany. And I hope the German government does something about it and quickly too.

What most of these European countries have are old buildings that are old fashioned but still in good shape.

    19. I agree with Bank. They are economic migrants and when they find their feet and begin to realise people will not change attitudes/lifestyles to suit their (refugees/asylum seekers) very strict moral codes/values bombs will go off.

Their kids will become jihadi johns and the cycle continues. I'm not intolerant, however, something needs to be done about the situation in Syria to stop them from getting on the boats to head for the UK and Germany in the first place.

In as much as she is way more exposed and enlightened than you are doesn't mean she is always right or you should swallow everything she says hook line and sinker. Pope Francis "said humanity must give help to those "fleeing death" and who are "victims of war and hunger and setting out on the path to a better life".
This President Assad's regime and Isis terrorists have crushed syria!
An Austrian conservative wrote that Christians and Jews be let through and Muslims refugees refused entry... I think this is mean and am glad it is not happening.

Kids are dying on the road, women raped, some even enter labour on the road...some die! This crisis is the worse I have seen in my time. It is one of the largest refugee exoduses in recent history.

Ungarn ist in EU und dort ist ganz ruhig. Warum möchten die Flüchtlingen dort nicht bleiben? Alle möchten nach Deutschland, Geld kostenlos zu bekommen. Sie sind nur Opportunisten.

On Sky news today, the German authorities are already saying they are overwhelmed with the number of migrants they are dealing with and public opinion is already changing because of the current take over and this is just the beginning. Angela Merkel has bitten more than she can chew. Dem never start.
