Fire Razes Popular Jevinik Restaurant In Abuja (Photos)

It was indeed a sight to behold yesterday at the popular Lagos street in Garki 2, as Jevinik Restaurant was on fire and almost razed to the ground if not for the efforts of fire fighters!

The immediate cause of the fire was not known but the Federal fire service arrived some minutes after. Though, it took a lot of struggle and effort to put off the fire which razed most of the properties inside the 2 storey building Restaurant.

Speaking with the head of marketing Mr victor, he said the fire was likely caused by an electric fault which spread across the building very fast.

It took about 4 trucks of fire service and gallant efforts of the fire fighters to put the flame in control. Another eye witness identified as Papie T who was at the Restaurant ‎said it started with smoke while he as eating before people inside took to their heels.

Mr Elechi Collins, the PRO of ‎Federal Fire service commended his men for the response to the unfortunate incident. He said they were able to put the fire out in less than one hour. Though, the extent of damage could not be ascertained as at press time.

Thank good ness no one was hurt.

    1. Oh no.
      kudos to the fire fighters.
And trust Nigerians to always stare like zombies in the face of a mishap instead of helping out. The most they can do is scream *Jesus* and then instantly turn into professional video shooters.
