Falae Says ''Fulani Herdsmen Working For Boko Haram''

The former Secretary to Government of the Federation, Olu Falae, has revealed that six Fulani herdsmen kidnapped him on Monday and made him trek 30km from Ilado where he was taken, to Owo.
He also said he was made to sleep in the bush for three days as the kidnappers changed their locations every four hours.

While speaking with Governor Olusegun Mimiko, who paid him a visit at his residence in Obaile, Mr. Falae said he believed the herdsmen were working for Boko Haram.

The Afenifere chieftain said he was made to sleep on the bare floor throughout his stay with his captors.

According to Baba, when he told the kidnappers that his family only had N2million, they asked him if he thought the amount was enough for‎ Boko Haram.”

Mr. Arase had told journalists that no ransom was paid before Mr. Falae secured his freedom, adding that policemen had been making effort to rescue the former minister since Monday.

U walked over 30km, come n ask d average worker in Lagos if they don't walk more than 30km a day either to save some cash from there meager salaries or to walk away from Traffic.

    3. Hmmm. No ransom was paid??? Yinmu.

What we were made to believe is how ruthless the fulani herdsmen are. Infact they love blood so much that anyone caught by them is NEVER spared. They slash people's throats with joy and happiness. So I wonder what their aim would have been, to capture Falae, only to let him off just like that without any combat, ransom, or shedding his blood. So....there's more to this. However, we thank God that u came out alive, and unhurt.

Has life really been this mean to you that all of a sudden, you are showing your shallow mindedness? Stella has noticed you! Now stop being foolish!

    2. Arase did not rescue him from them. The man was already walking thru the bush before he was seen and taken home. There's a difference dear anonymous. You think that if Arase arrived where he was being held, there wouldn't have been exchange of gun fires etc? It's not that easy o. Esp if they claim that no ransom was paid. If the Fulanis got an incline that they were being approached by the police to rescue the man, and without their demands being met, they would have killed the old man and his dead body would be what Arase will meet. So I think he prolly was let off before the police found him.

  9. Unless this is now a new strategy that boko haram is using to get funds. Kidnap top men and ask for ransom. And nobody knows the bushes and night like these herdsmen. Well good he is alive.

  10. Of course we've known since that fulani herdsmen are boko haram.
If not, how did they come about using Ak 47 guns to rob?
Years before, herdsmen use bow and arrow and don't steal but now now the case is different.

Thank God for Falae's life. It would have been catastrophic if he was killed.

  13. This man should stop talking anyhow and start thanking God that his life was spared. Many Christian minorities in the north don't get to live to tell the story.
Is it just now that he is waking up from sleep?
Everyone knows that BH is a political tool in the hands of the north.
Who are the people that sabotaged and betrayed GEJ when it mattered most?

  15. Everything is a betrayal to your people when others have a mind of their own and don't agree with or want to tow the same line as you, or even want to associate with you.
Do your own and let others do their own
It is obvious you need alliance from others before you can achieve anything.
Others don't need outside alliance, they support themselves to achieve whatever they want to achieve to get the job done.
    Pathetic cry babies.

  16. If you think he is just whining... then I wish your father what he went through and when that happens you can tell your father to shut up and stop whining....Bunch of idiots.. they always want sympathy but are incapable of giving the same to others...
