Uche Nworah ABS CEO Says That Children Are The Future Of Anambra And The Nigerian Economy

The future of Anambra state and indeed Nigeria belongs to children, says Uche Nworah, MD/CEO of the Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS). It is the responsibility of parents and the government to support and nurture their talents so that they can achieve their full potentials.

Mr Nworah was speaking during an interactive session with children participants at the 2015 ABS Summer Arts and Leadership Camp organised by the ABS Brand and Business Academy and Azimi Arts Gallery.  

He praised the children for their good behaviour all through the camp, and for the promise they are showing as future leaders and looked forward to welcoming them back to the camp in 2016. Mr. Nworah also said that the ABS Media and Business Academy is here to stay and called on well meaning Ndi Anambra to partner with ABS to develop the academy to become a leading centre of media, brand and business excellence. 

The camp which formally comes to an end on Saturday, August 15, 2015 with an exhibition by the children started on Monday, August 10, 2015. During the 5 day camp, the participants were taught news skills through courses including painting, soap making, bead making, graphics and so on. There were also Leadership, Igbo language and cultural lessons. 


The exhibition which opens by 10am at the ABS Headquarters, Aroma junction, Awka is open to the public. All are invited.
