Nigeria’s reggae artist, Ras Kimono while speaking with The Nation has said that many Nigerian artists will go into rehabs in the next 10 years.
The raggae legend, whose popularity transcends the reggae boundaries, said drinking and smoking habit among young Nigerian artistes is unspeakable, hence they may just end up in rehabs because it has gotten entirely out of hands.
In his words:
"With the rate at which our young entertainers are abusing drugs, and alcohol, many of them will be raving mad, in asylums, or rehab in the next 10 years.
“I never smoked. I never drank alcohol in my over thirty years as a musician.”
“There are a number of reggae musicians who do not abuse drugs, nor drink alcohol, you know,” he quipped.
I hear most of the Entertainment stars take Codeine to feel high....nd then they step down with 'igbo'.
My informant is also a culprit sef.
May God help them.

DeleteI know that some of them will start selling tea and coffee in van in the nearest future if care is not taken!
This is the time to invest.
I listened to that fearless news caster abi journalist called Aisha whilst she interviewed this man a while back, that was on channels Tv. Oh boi, he sounded deep rooted. Although he came across as a bit 'childish' in his general countenance. Wonder if he's still making a living with his reggae like way back.
