On Friday August 28,2015 the management of the Radissonblu hotels invited members of the press to a sitting where they discussed the re-opening of the hotel which was closed down a few months ago to effect maintenance.
The hotel will be open soon to the public and the Managing Director, Mr Kelvin Kamau who gave the welcome address discussed the new products the Hotel had to offer...
*He said the renovation of the hotel took 6months to complete.
*He also said the upgrade of the hotel costs over N1B (one billion naira).
*He mentioned the various areas affected by the upgrade as follows;
* power system (new and bigger generators).
* cooling system.
*public service areas.
* Hired the right team to train staff to meet the needs of customers.
* introduction of more Nigerian delicacies in the menu.
* Building better relationships with clients and customers.
*Airport pickup services.
*Trained personnel on international best practices.
* Tastier meals.
*Better services.
* new and improved security systems and personnel.
* Room rate discounts.
*featuring of local artists with international coverage on a regular basis.
* iconic hotel in an iconic location.
They better open quick
