A man identified as Ifeanyi Okpoko has allegedly dragged his ex-wife, Blessing Okpoko to seven shrines, including the dreaded Okija shrine in Anambra State, due to a misunderstanding over ownership of property.
The 13-year-old union became strained when the wife started claiming ownership of the husband’s landed property.
Ifeanyi was said to have dragged his wife to seven different shrines including the dreaded Okija shrine in Ihiala, due to her claims that he did not contribute to the acquisition of the property which is now a subject of a lawsuit.
He disclosed that he decided to embark on consulting the oracles so as to punish either of them making false claims on the property.
Ifeanyi noted that his ex-wife was using her position as a senior bank staff to deceive some people that she owned the property which they jointly owned, stressing that this informed his decision to consult the oracles so as to establish the truth.
The move did not go down well with Blessing as she reported the matter to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr Fatai Owoseni, who called them to a meeting in an attempt to find a lasting solution to the matter.
It was further learnt that while mediating in the issue, the Lagos State Police Boss reportedly criticized them for their action and wondered why they never took the matter to their relatives and elders in their communities so as to find a lasting solution.

ReplyDeleteNot only are you a bigot you are also a sexist, you have serious issues in all aspects of your life. I wonder if you were ever loved as a child, perhaps you were seriously abused or brought up without any care and attention hence the way you have turned up in life. Because you are gay and into men you constantly abuse women at every chance you get, it's even good that you are gay because no woman will have to put up with an animal like you, it's very hard to even think that a woman gave birth to a monkey like you @ money maker.
ReplyDeleteBirds of te same feather. Lol. They'll sort themselves out.

Make u dey look well before u cross. Marriage theses days is a mockery. Its better for everybody to be on his or her own cos we re making a mess of Go d's to beautiful intention. Anyway, gooduck to them.
ReplyDelete*God's beautiful intention*
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to derail this post. I need your unbiased opinions. I will go anonymous on this. Initially, I wanted to send this as a mail to Stella, but the last I sent was not posted. Maybe, it went to her spam box. I come from a very poor background. In fact, I grew asking God when will the story change. Anyways, that's a story for another day. Got news today, that my younger sister is pregnant and doesn't know who is responsible. I' ve been sad and confused. Asides the shame. This like dragging the family backward.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't know who's responsible bawo? Make she call all th Ed men we contribute sperm na haba! E go b joint ownership. The pickin go take the first initials of all the parties take form surname. Simples! !!
DeleteKini kawa se si yen? Mtchw!
DeleteNo abortion
DeleteConsole yourselves, band together and support her and the baby. The child is innocent please. Love and care for it.
If she is a student please let her go back to school after the birth she needs to make something of her life. The fact that she doesn't know who is responsible is a pointer that something is very wrong with her morals (sleeping around aside). She needs straightening out on that. Tell her to CLOSE HER LEGS and focus on bringing up the child while getting her life back on track!
It is well, don't be sad. It can only get better.
Haaa, that okija shrine ehn, na wa o
ReplyDeleteokija shrine ke? untop wetin na? smtcheeeewwwww

ReplyDeleteWhat a husband!
ReplyDeleteAnon 10:22 why do you talk like a simpleton. If your sister doesn't know who is responsible , then how can bv's know who is responsible, it means she was fucking around. Do you want us to take responsibility for the pregnancy?. What exactly are you looking for, what do you want people to do exactly, why don't people like yourself and your sister just help themselves. In 2015 your sister gets pregnant, she doesn't know who is responsible then you come to a blog to to say you grew up poor, your sister is pregnant and it's dragging your family backwards. What exactly do you want us to do here. People should really start taking responsibility for their actions and lives and stop this begging attitude, it really is becoming annoying.
ReplyDeleteBut this person didn't beg for anything?
DeleteJust probably wanted to unburden his or her heart.... Or didn't I read correctly.
Hmmm... I guess she wants to be advised on whether or not to abort the pregnancy. And the info about their background is to establish the fact that they'lld not be able to cater for the pregnancy or child eventually. Quite irresponsible of her sister I must say. If she wasn't raped she should know who mounted the pregnancy on her.

ReplyDeleteThere are married, tot there was a presumption of assets being shared 50/50 as long as the land was bought whilst they were married? Shuo, dem no get lawyer ni, sell the land, share it equally or one buys the other out and owns the land free and clear. What is going to all these different shrines going to solve. Naija ppl sometimes sha. they can complicate matters.
ReplyDeleteIn America yes 50-50, in naija doesn't work like that... How many men throw out their wives and leave them with nothing
DeleteAnon 9.44 God bless you, I wonder why stella even enables a lot of comments of this 'kobo maker'. It's obvious he has deep rooted issues, maybe he was abandoned as a child and never sucked from a woman's bossom,so he grew up lacking love.
ReplyDeleteI am not even abusing him, I feel more of pity bcos I know he has psychological issues only therapy can fix. Life is beautiful, why spend ur time spewing hate.
Anythn that has to do with Yoruba or women, a silly comment from him/she must follow.
Madam bed and thorns...I dont see any thing tribalistic about Money Maker.U all should stop being sentimental about his comments. He is entitled to his comments here.Deal with ur bitterness.U yorubas are bitter and insecure..
DeleteU are not cussing him but u just did by saying he did not suck his mother's breast..Did u suck urs?
Pity urself first cos something is fundamentally wrong with u and ur fellow yoruba bigots.
They called that marrriage abi? Why drag properties since 1+1 s 1 na...those folks are unserious.....
ReplyDeleteSecretman go get an education. Your lingo sticks dummy.
ReplyDeleteYou never hear of begging with style. Psychological begging.
ReplyDeleteIf the man went to report his (ex?)wife to the shrines mentioned including that in Okija, make no mistake about it - He is telling the truth and the (ex) wife is guilty if what he is accusing her of.
ReplyDeleteNo man, I repeat no man, would approach any deity (anywhere!) for adjudication and intervention if his hands are not clean.
There is nothing more to be said about this.
The Presidents Wife you better STFU because you're another bigot on this blog that can't keep her anus shut because that is where you comment from, you idiots are the problem with Nigeria. You too want to join the band wagon, try it and receive curses every day for the rest of your life.
