Good morning Stella, I love your blog so much though I always comment as anonymous. 

My boyfriend was formerly a close friend before we started dating 3 years ago. We've always been able to goof around and tease each other. Just this week we were talking about the price of some stuff. Then I was like "Baby"... 

I got the shocker when he let it on that he knew I was about to ask for something he will normally not do. I had to pretend righteous indignation but I was laughing out over here.

IF YOU WERE ME AND YOU RECEIVED THIS MAIL

You may not remember me through my email add but I have sent you two mails in the past before which you didn't publish. I once sent you an article on Governor Amosun of Ogun state and attached pictures of the road to my house which were and are still in bad shape - you refused posting it because I didn't want to add my name or number to the article. On the second one which was a private 'Ogun Idile family bruhaha', you said you don't post spiritual cases on your blog.

I am a regular blog visitor and have been since the days when you didn't approve comments on your blog. The issue now is that please I do not want you to get angry after reading my mail, I am the founder of ******** and I once asked for your ad rates to do an advert on your site. I ended up doing it on Linda's blog which wasn't my fault. I am done with Uni and all, all the money I saved during NYSC, I used in learning a skill which didn't yield me anything because the skill I got is already over saturated in the market - bead making.

Luckily for me, I write sometimes and so when the idea struck me, I decided to launch my own site which is a writing community. The money I used to build the site was the money I won on the "who wants to be a millionaire" program sometime ago. After paying for domain name, hosting, designing, extensions and the likes, the 250K (225 thousand after VAT) I won was remaining just about 52 thousand naira. I wanted to do the ad on your blog because I have exchanged emails with you before in the past and you are prompt to answer your reader's mails and I know how things work on SDK blog better but people advised that I do it on Linda's blog because it was my last cash and I would get more people to register on the site. So I gave someone the money and he did everything. 

Aunty Stella, I finally got about 350 members from her site but most of them are not WRITERS and did not even come back after the first day, they only got attracted to the site because the advert contained monetary rewards for active members and I think that was my first mistake, I shouldn't have allowed the person go ahead and send it to Linda to post. We were hoping that we would get people willing to invest immediately on the site because it is unique and introduce a form of giveaway. We have since learned that blogging and a writing website are two different worlds.

I have since requested that the advert be taken down - at the end of the day, the 50K didn't yield the results I wanted but I am still hopeful.

This is where I need your help please I am crawling on my knees begging you, please see me as that prodigal son who strayed but later asked the father for forgiveness and he did. 

1. Could you be kind enough to help us do a Disclaimer on your blog?

2. I want to propose a deal to you, please we need a blog/online mentor, someone who has an online presence and authority and could help us grow the site by partnering with us and promoting the site directly or indirectly every once in a week on her site. Aunty Stella, just before you judge me, please put yourself in my shoes, I was under pressure because I had emptied my account on that site.

The site is very promising if properly nurtured, it is a first of its kind in Nigeria - for writing, reading and networking - with its 3 in 1 features. You can check here *********.....

I am proposing that you assist us in nurturing it to maturity and when the site starts generating revenue which I see happening in future, 10% of the generated revenue will go to SDK blog, this is more like a stake in the site only that in this case, you are not staking money but helping us promote it. 

Please, I am open to sign any contract to that effect and can show you my pictures if you please so you can know I won't run away when the time comes. I decided to use my personal email and not the site's own so you will know who I am. You are the only one I can run to because you are very understanding, please do not turn my requests down.

I have attached the disclaimer in faith that you will post it on your blog, please do not ignore us the way it is done on other blogs, I am biting my fingers now and know better. The disclaimer is to make amends and bring back people who were really interested in the site but got turned off due to the manner in which the advert was written. I want matured writers and members on my site and not just anyhow people who don't even have an idea of what writing is all about. Please help us use your 'red pen' to do magic beneath the post and please 'no cuss us', we be your pikin them. [I am a 24 year old lady but very petite and could be mistaken for 17 years :-)].

Hello everyone!

Hope your day is going on well. Pls I have a question and I also need information on the same issue. Are there no micro finance banks or other financial org. Catering to lending to low income earners?

   Especially in a country where over 70% of the work force earn less than 100K per month! In this day and time when friends and family don't want to lend money out cos to collect it back is an issue, shouldn't there be away to meet urgent financial need without going to the 'big' banks?

   I needed 40K recently with the plan to pay back twice and I searched online for avenues to get the money without opening my "yansh" to people around me. (Some will make you tell them what you want to use the money for, yet they won't give you).

Please if there are financial org. like that kindly share the info. Thank you.
