According to my sources,Former Governor of Akwa ibom state Gov Akpabio was involved in an accident this morning Monday August 31,2015 at Bolingo Junction Abuja. This happened when his lead convoy car beat the traffic light causing another car to collide right into the car Akpabio was seated in.
He has since been driven to the hospital as he sustained injures and was bleeding. I don't have pictures but this you can take this info to the Bank.
Here is hoping his injuries are not much and that he recovers well.
Serves him right. God has a way of punishing the wicked.
ReplyDeleteGod please grant him speedy recovery.

Chai punishment for stealing tax payers money... #alinko
DeleteWhat?
DeleteThey've been. Doing it and he never cautioned them. Good that he sustained injury.
DeleteWhatever, no mortal is above God!!! Kapish!!!!
DeleteHe was rushing to the airport (without convoy pls), so maybe he ordered his driver to beat traffic but was unfortunate to run into United Nation's Vehicle who has the right of way. @National Hosp now. Pity him. DDJ
DeleteHe was not injured. His car was hit from behind . No blood or hospital.
DeleteGooooood, hope he die!
DeleteFuck him
Why would he rush to the airport. He should have made his arrangement well. Beating traffic is out of order. Very bad.
DeleteGood for them! Why won't they obey d traffic lights? Namsense e lucky say he no die
ReplyDeletehe should also pay for the damages inflicted on the other innocent road user, car damages, psychological damages, physical injuries even spiritual. FRSC do your work o.

I don't want to say good for him bcos im a xtian lady. But the way dese ppl drive untop this convoy issue, if ur not aware dey are near you, one can almost get involved in an accident with them. It's the other car im even concerned about.
ReplyDeleteI hope now governors can also see its crucial we develop good health care system especially emergency units bcos of dese type's of accident emergency's.
But Govt wont develop healthcare bcos they think, if me and my family have headache today, we will travel out the next day. Not reasoning that in cases of emergency, how soon you get treatment after the accident matters, you have to be stabilized before travelling anywhere.
They don't keep to the damn laws they make.
ReplyDeleteGet well soon Sir.
Wishing him quick recovery.
ReplyDeleteWe are entering the '....ember' months. Blood thirsty demons are on the prowl to draw blood for their blood banks. Pray against accidents. Whether land, air, sea. Land accidents not limited to motor vehicle accidents. E.g the baby who got mauled to death by their dog. It can happen even in your kitchen , home, school, children's play ground, etc.
Pray, pray, pray...declare,.b/c Jesus Christ shed his blood on the cross, for me & my family, non of us will shed blood. IJN. Amen.
Also Pray Ps. 91 over your life & household every day or week.
May God's guardian & security Angels protect us all. IJN amen.
Amen 2 ur prayers.
DeleteAmen!
DeleteI really feel for that woman who lost her baby.
I pray its nothing serious.
ReplyDeleteQuick recovery IJN
That was how i nearly ran into an okada man this morning. The traffic light has gone green and i was driving fast and this yeye okada man had to cross into my lane. Thank God for God being God. The stupid man was even saying waka self.
ReplyDeleteAkpabio next time stop beating traffic. you are not made up of gold. this is a warning. i hope calabar winch never dey follow you.
Please, if you didn't do States and Capital in Nursery/ Primary school then ask a pupil to assist you.
DeleteAkwa-Ibom ------ Uyo
Cross River ------- Calabar.
But No! You people never know the difference. Later y'all be calling Buhari tribalistic. When you can't even differentiate different states and capitals. I'm sick to my gut about this thing!!
Thank God for his life. Hope he recovers soon but he should see this as a warning that he needs to amend his ways.
ReplyDeleteI hope he gets well quick, hope he learns his lesson that death is a respecter of nobody
ReplyDeleteWhen they tell them to obey traffic they think the people who put the traffic lights are stupid, now see what has happened to him. The same thing would have happened to I and my bro this morning because a bike man refused to obey the traffic light.
ReplyDeleteHope he sustained serious injuries. Stupid man.
ReplyDeleteAh! You want all the yellow curvy babes in CRS and AKS to commit suicide? Do you know how many families that man is sustaining? Stop am oh!
DeleteFoolish convoy....would it hurt them to obey traffic rules?
ReplyDeletena wah o.cud it be nemesis?anyways speedy recovery
ReplyDeleteThat's the problem with these people who think they are the high and mighty! For chrissakes why can't sm1 obey such simple traffic order!? Mtcheeew! Serves them right!
ReplyDeleteI hope d person that ran into him is ok, lawless law makers mtcheeeew
ReplyDeleteAwwwwww, I pray it's not so serious. May God heal you o
ReplyDeleteThank God and I hope he suffers. I however hope the occupant of the other car is safe as there was no mention.
ReplyDeleteGood for him. Why did they disobey the traffic light? And he was once a governor. Mtchewww. The other driver should sue for damages o
ReplyDeleteNamsense!
ReplyDeleteI'm more concerned about the person who's car collided with his.
Why won't they be involved in accidents, when they are laws unto themselves.
#WhiteDiamondOut
Common Godswill I thought u were different
ReplyDeleteThey don't obey traffic light imagine is d traffic light for decoration.. Later nw he will say they want to kill him. I pray d injury is not too much.
ReplyDeleteTragic light signs are to be respected.... Get well
ReplyDeleteThey will taking laws into their hands is thew right thing...see where disobedience land you.i prays it's not serious
ReplyDeleteKilode???
DeleteWhen people that are meant to lead others break the rules. He had better treat that man and get him a new car. At least he sustained injuries, If that one go make am hear word.
ReplyDeleteSenseless black leaders.
ReplyDeleteI saw the accident on my way to work...save recovery to all involved.
ReplyDeleteWas Freda Francis in the car with him? .
ReplyDeleteYeye man
ReplyDeleteConvoy?! Anyways, if lead car beats traffic light, shouldn't the next car stop? Na so nemesis dey catch some people. BTW, Loveme Jeje, this is 2015 and the same internet connection you used to post here can help you know there's a difference between Calabar and where Akpabio is from
ReplyDeleteI dunno oh! I'm from Central cross River yet people in Lagos be calling be 'Calabar girl' and be speaking Efik to me. I don't even speak the language.
DeleteThe annoying part is when they say 'I went to ur village once for a wedding. That was in Oron or Eket' I'd be like wtf?!! That's not even my state. Everyone from that axis is 'Calabar' to the rest of Nigeria. Biko! I can't wait for those Biafrans to even break out so we can form our own small cute country if the other tribes don't even care to know the difference.
Good for him jo. I just read that even last year his convoy was arrested when they were driving against traffic on one-way at very high speed in Abuja. So he has been doing this thing for a long time. Stupid man. The traffic light is not for you abi?
