SLEEPING WITH DADDY DEAREST
Good day Stella... Am one of your blog visitors and I visit your blog often. Keep up d good work. Stella, there is something bothering me and I really need the advice of blog visitors urgently. Its about a friend.
Let me call her Nicky.
I met Nicky during our Pre-degree program. She was my Roommate. We were close. But something was off about her. I noticed that she was too intimate with her dad. Her dad is a politician. He comes to our school almost every weekend and takes her to different hotels. If you ask her, she will say her dad just came to relax with her and that he is missing her.
Anytime we gals are talking about our parents she always says somethings like her dad knows her safe period, Ovulation period and so on and she mistakenly says sum intimate things dat happen. She refers to her dad like her boyfriend. Anytime we have a break, her dad will take her to different countries. I forgot to mention this, Nicky's mum is dead and her dad married another wife and has 3 kids from the second wife. I didn't want to stir up any controversy so I just waved it off and assumed it was fatherly love and since the father also spoils her silly with new gadgets and anything she wants, I don't want to be seen as been jealous.
When we got admission, Nicky started dating a guy. After 2months she got pregnant. The guy denied it. I got furious and as a good friend, I went to the guy's house to confront him. Stella, what this guy told me confirmed what i have been suspecting. He said he is not the father of the baby and that Nicky's dad was responsible.
I didn't know this guy was a team snoop. That was how he got to know.
I confronted Nicky and she broke down and explained everything. That her dad told her to pin the pregnancy on the boy so it won't be seen as a taboo. A week later, she had an abortion, Stella, she almost lost her life.
Now she is better and back to school. I don't know how to advice her as a friend to stop sleeping with her dad... Stella, this girl sees her dad like the best dad in the world. Her dad does no wrong in her eyes. She thinks what she is doing is right.
How do I convince her??
How do I tell her its a taboo. Am sure very soon her dad will start coming on weekends. Am confused. Stella, am in tears....I love my friend and I care about her. She means the world to me and i am scared her dad might be using her....

ReplyDeleteBTW i am suspecting my neighbour too. his family(wife n kids all boys) are abroad. but he has a daughter with one calabar woman, that was before he got married. when he was learning trade. so when the calabar woman heard that his wife has refused to come home when he was being titled in his village. she sent her daughter.
now the daughter leaves with him and his servants in his mansion. he takes her to everywhere he goes. his club, most nights they come back very late like 2am. may be covenant expelled her cos she has changed school. she wears too skimpy clothes with her dad. till now his wife is not back 7 years gone.

Make her comfortable enough to tell u the whole story and make her understand how wrong what she's doing is
It's also possible that this abuse didn't just start and she thinks it's normal cos I've seen a video of a girl who sleeps with her mother plus the mother her to sleep with her dad saying she's his blood but he left and d girl made a video telling people to stay away that it's normal
So your friend might have been mentally affected like that
