President Muhammadu Buhari today commenced a two-day visit to Cameroon to hold talks with President Paul Biya and senior Cameroonian officials in continuation of his efforts to build a more effective regional coalition against Boko Haram.
Talks between the two leaders would focus on the full activation and deployment of the Multinational Joint Task Force against Boko Haram established under the auspices of the Lake Chad Basin Commission. They will also discuss further joint measures to curb terrorism, violent extremism and other cross-border crimes.
President Buhari had on his delegation several state governors Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Defence and the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency.
The governors on the entourage are Alhaji Mohammed Bindow of Adamawa State, Mr. Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Samuel Ortom of Benue State, Alhaji Kashim Shettima of Borno State, Mr. Ben Ayade of Cross River State and Mr. Darius Ishaku of Taraba State.

ReplyDeleteAll these travelling na to collect estacode. we know their type very well. dem full private sectors.
ReplyDeleteDid anyone even notice the political party of some state governors in his delegation? Case in point, Emmanuel Udom of AkwaIbom & Cross Rivers state governor both belong to the PDP. But it didn't matter to OUR president. We can all belong to different sides on the divide, so long as our objectives remain the same.
ReplyDeleteAll you smallies here keep hating on and abusing OUR president. I can bet that some PDP card-carrying members love & admire him already for who he is, even if they can't voice it out due to party allegiance. Have you seen the pix with Buhari, Udom & President Biya in it? The wide smile on PDP's Emmanuel Udom's face was worthy of note.
From my son's Social Studies textbook, i read that the main criteria for choosing our leaders should be patriotism. And President Buhari is one helluva patriotic man. All he's done and is doing presently is not to better his family, or kins men or muslims. It is for the betterment of OUR country Nigeria which sadly, a lot of us cussing him out on this blog don't even consider.
God bless you Sir, grace you with good health and long life. May He keep you to fulfill your destiny in placing Nigeria on the right track again. May generations yet unborn enjoy the fruits of your governance.
Love, love, love this man.
Blaque keep quiet , alot of people that voted for Buhari are now regretting already, he made promises to be the messiah especially in the north but the bombing increased, I have three friends that are regretting why they cast their vote for him
