ReplyDeletePoor state of our med facility, ha has to be flown out of the country in an unconscious state..... Tooooo Riiisky they hardly survivive such trip
DeleteWas it necessary flying an unconscious 85 year old man out of the country? The stress of the flight would have worsened his health anyway. There is no cure for old age related death, even in the UK.
Erin wo, ajanaku sun bi oke. Iku b'abiri, abiri ku; iku p'abiri, abiri r'orun. Sun-un re o baba.

ReplyDeleteJust who i tot twas... RIP sir, i liked him
ReplyDeletei guess dolapo oni's marriage wud b put on hold.
Its well.
wonder why you people are angreed because he/she said Igbo,The country is made up of three major ethnic groups namely hausa igbo and yoruba. E ma binu pupooooooooo.
ReplyDeleteRIP OONI IFE
Mr Yoruba, the country is also made up of six (6) geopolitical zones. You don't call people what they are not. I am Urhobo and I dislike it when people (especially theYorubas) call me an Igbo girl. One Nigeria shouldn't make some people Dundees. Know your states and capitals plus Zones join.
DeleteKeyword = major. Not just three. The word 'major' connotes there are other tribes...albeit in the minority.
DeletePls don't be an idiot.
So because the country is made up of 3 major tribes she should force a tribe on Stella that does not belong to her.
DeleteThat's how ignoramuses keep forcing 'Awusa' tribe on middle belters.
You guys should re-read your geography jor.
Dolapo oni's marriage wld not be put on hold....i hear yoruba's don't suspend wedding because of death....the pump and pageantry might be reduced to d barest minimum but d wedding will not be postponed. Unless maybe becos he was an oba so his own might be special. Remember that Dana crash where a woman, her husband nd child all died while coming for her brother's wedding that Saturday, and d wedding still held....and Linda Ikeji carried d story criticizing d family for still going ahead with d wedding nd one of d family member went on twitter to curse her, her entire family and her generation for subjecting them to d kind of backlash and insults they received from ignorant people who didn't knw anything abt their culture. At that time i didn't understand....but now I do sha, makes small sense. Why postpone a thing of joy for a thing of sadness....like u can't place sadness over joy.....wo d thing I sha complicated. Plus yea d oba of bini died since Dec but they don't announce it.....if they do, where will they find all d human heads they nid for sacrifice, particularly those of strangers. May God help nd keep us all IJN Amen!!!
ReplyDeleteDeborah u get mind o! Yes d oba of bini eyaff died since. I tout that was wat they finaly want to announce sef.
Deleteerin woo!!! ajanaku sun bi oke!!!
ReplyDeleteoba wa onirisa ti waja o
o darinako, o doju ala

RIP OOONI. ..They shouldn't have flown him na!..dude is old n tired.
ReplyDeleteIrene, that's the Alaafin of Oyo. I also heard of the Benin monarch just last night and I trembled. Over two months and no one is saying anything? Wow. Ooni of Ife's burial will definitely be a carnival. To go or not?
ReplyDeleteU this Oluyomi. U r just an attention seeking party animal. Man dat died and hasn't reached destination u already forming whether to attend d party or not. When even the family are yet to come to terms wiv it. Agbalagba de ni tara yin o.. e try ke ni ironu small. Oshi
DeleteRIP Ooni of life.
ReplyDeleteAll the people abusing Yorubas is now calling a Yoruba person a name just because she called Stella an Igbo? Really? Is it too diffucult to enlithing the person without abuse?
ReplyDeleteNigeria is section into 3 tribes ( Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa) with many branches. Next time you want refer to any Yoruba person, you need to find out if she is from Ondo, Abeokuta or Lagos.
RIP, so all dis rituals no fit buy him long life again. Chai, i pity the students of OAU. Na dem go fall for d burial rituals pass. BTW, make una welcome mee ooo, i just discovered how to get a blogger id, am a very old anony on dis blog and i sabi everybody for here.
