  1. Heavy duty trucks should stop moving about during the day. Or better still, use a very strong twine or chain to hold it together with the truck. RIP to the deceased.

  5. Everyone should repent. No one knows when he will die. The parents never expected to die yesterday. Let everybody give his life to Christ. A stitch in time saves nine.

A bill should be passed to have both d employee and d employer sent to jail for every accident it's trailer causes habaaaa. Imagine a family lives wasted just like dat. May their soul rip

  11. Ahh Stella, I was teary eyed watching this last night on the news. Even the gov's wife could be seen crying. It's so so sad. Especially when they showed the kids that survived.. a baby was there. My God. And to imagine how they said their mother screamed "help help" before the trailer fell on them. It's too sorrowful and I can't imagine how these children will survive without their parents. They left home and thought they would return, the entire family was in the car. Father Lord we plead ur mercy against unseen evil that may be on our pathway. We plead ur blood mercy and ask that such evil will pass us over. May God rest their soul and bless the children left behind. I am sad.

As for those tanker drivers, God will judge them.

  17. This is just too sad. A strict law should be made for trailer and tanker drivers so they will be more cautious on the road and maintain their vehicles to prevent all this unnecessary accidents and deaths.

  19. If not for the Civil Defence officials that were chasing the trailer, this unfortunate incident could have been avoided. Why should you even chase a heavy duty vehicle? U simply take the particulars and radio it round the country. These civil defence guys, are they even trained? This is so sad and nobody is saying anything about their culpability in this matter. Very annoying. The family should them. Idiots!

  24. This is disheartening.
God give the family the gratitude to bear the loss.

I trust Gov Obiano to impose sanctions immediately. These haulage trucks and their wild driving pattern and antics, the way they trample on potholes on the road, makes an easy fall for them.
    Dang!
