CORRUPTION PRAYER..LMAO

Stella during the last elections. My hubby carried PMB matter for

head. He was preaching to all and sundry that PMB will tackle

corruption that's GEJ no get balls to fight corruption. So just last

week our ex governor was invited by EFCC by hubby was happy say God

don catch the man, after reading about the case in the papers he

realised that a woman he knows that worked for the ex governor will

also be invited to EFCC. Hubby come say make we pray. Me I was like

pray wetin? I know her? Who she help? If she did the crime she should

do the time.

Then I told him if this wasn't what he wanted for corruption to

tackled. Stella I was talking to my self o.  Next thing he was like

this our woman can't go to jail we must pray for am. Na there I begin

suspect am. I asked him if she gave him millions that I didn't know

about he said no. Na I say so we never pray make I get job finish na

Genotype discordant couples

Hi Stella I'm a blog visitor but I don't comment often. I came across the chronicles of a blog visitor on the 17th of July about a lady and her fiancé being AS. Many people are not knowledgeable about this topic but still there were so many comments.  Her fiancé is correct 100%. That being said I would like to make the poster know that she cannot rely on what her fiancé says but find out the truth for her self. There is a procedure called Pre-Genetic Determination PGD  carried out in some centres where in-vitro fertilisation IVF is done . 

It involves taking the woman's eggs and the man's sperm and fertilising them. The resultant embryos are then tested for different genetic conditions including SS genes. Then only AA or AS embryos are implanted in the woman with the hope of implantation and pregnancy occurring. 

This is a very expensive and painstaking process but it has been helpful to many families. And YES IT IS DONE IN NIGERIA!

So maybe you can put this up on your blog to allow people make informed choices

BRIDE TO BE IS HIV POSITIVE

Aunt Stella....  Good evening, right now I'm sad and happy and confused @ the same time. My only brother has been dating a girl for about 2 years now.... Late last year he became serious about marrying her. Every body most especially my mother who has been pressuring him to settle down.

This year, the date was fixed for August and October for trad. and white wedding. Okay, as sisters every time we encouraged our brother to tell her to come to Lagos just for us to see her and welcome her as our own, he'll make excuses for her and tell us that we'll see her soon.

Fast forward to June last month, she, my eldest sis and my mother came to Lagos to shop for her wedding stuff. My mother  and sister suffered in Lagos market for her carrying loads of stuff on their head and all that. That aside, this babe never showed any appreciation after the 3 days stress my folks went through for her.

After coming back from the market each day, she never even bothered to ask if her mother in law to be will eat(I'm igbo by tribe). All this and many more attitude of hers was pissing me off but I remained calm.

Aunt Stella you wouldn't believe that this evening my mother called us and was crying seriously that my brother told her his babe is HIV positive. The first question I had to ask was what about my brother, thank God he's negative. I am soo stunned and short of words,so many what ifs have been sailing through my mind

I can't judge the girl although I'm soo furious with her, why did she wait soo long (2 years) before she told my brother. We always were trying to bring her close but she was never trying to associate. It became soo bad that we had to tell our brother to cancel the wedding plans.

I have soo many things to type here, but that'll be a waste of time and energy, please abstinence is just the key. No matter how intoxicated by the love, set your boundaries. Whomever will stay will stay. Right now I'm just keeping my fingers crossed because it's a 50-50 chance for my brother. I'm soo scared, please pray for us.

Hmmm this just brought back memories of my late elder bro.It still hurts.he would have been 46 this year.he had such a bright future.I pray your brother is not already infected.my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Calling Out Dr Tobe of St Lawrence Hospital. Ekewan Road, Benin.

Dear Stella as i write to I'm full of disappointment and pain. Three weeks ago about 2am in the morning, I was rushed to St Lawrence hospital to have an appendix operation removed. I was in so much pain when I arrived the doctor on call who is also the owner of the hospital, billed me 45 thousand naira excluding my medication. The operation was done and I was discharged 3 days later, but when I got back home I noticed that fluid was coming out of the stitches so I was taken back the hospital  and was  asked to buy some antibiotics which I did. 

But the pain and fluid did not stop so I had to go back again it was then that the doctor noticed he did not fully covered up the wound. First he put a plaster to cover it, then after another 3days of  going back and forth he decided to restitch again. Stella and my fellow blog visitors do you know that this man operated on me without any anaesthetic, knowing fully well that I'm a sickle cell patient, I must have gone to hell and back the pain was out of this world. what did the doctor say?

 He said am crying like a baby anyway he asked me to come back the following week to take out the stitches of cause I did not go back there I went to another private hospital were I was told that the wound had been infected not only that the stupid doctor sowed me like someone who was learning how to patch clothes, and I was also told that the cut was too deep for an appendix operation. So now I'm still in a lot of pain and also out of pocket so far I have spent more that 65 thousand naria and I still can't stand upright. As it is now, I  don't know what to do to my quack Dr Tobe. He has taken our money and has placed my life in danger as am terrified of infection following an operation.Please anybody that can help because quackery is very difficult to challenge and bring to book in our beloved country. 

 It's nearly a month now since the surgery. At present a different hospital is handling the case and we are only hoping that the wound can be healed soon, this is because the entire wound was full of dead skin.

  I am 21yrs old, my genotype is SS and life has been like a living hell following the surgery by Doctor Tobi.  The cost of the after care is mounting by the day and I have out of relations and friends that can support me any further.

Hi Stella, thank you for your good works. I read in IHN some days ago about a BV who wanted to give out 100k to a cancer patient and I decided to send a mail on behalf of my patient( I am a paediatric resident )whose parents have been going through a lot of stress both financially and emotionally.  

Damilola wrote back saying she had already chosen the beneficiary of the 100k but that she would still assist me. Stella, you wouldn't believe she sent me 25k the following day. Imagine the joy the child's mother felt when I gave her the money and told her that I don't even know the person that sent in the money. She told me that she was on the verge of giving up but this action has given her strength to carry on. God bless you Oluwadamilola.

This is really just about how I feel at the moment. Everyone and everything seems to have turned on me, and it's hard to change your life. Things changed for me so fast, going through so much. From hating life, depression biting me hard, suicide ran through my mind(wish, it was that easy), trying to find myself in this big world. Where it seems I don't exist and people don't see me. But whom do I leave my children to? Some will say "why bring in babies you can't care & sustain for". But what if you had planned for them and life happens? And you are left to your world alone, fighting to live & survive with the kids?

In a world filled with changes, each and every day. People change, then shit happens. And I was used, then dumped with kids. Some people say marry for love, some say marry for the right reasons. Others say marry for comfort. What happens when you indeed married for all the reasons and still, marriage fails you, and you split? And you are left down on the grass to wallow in pain, in dejection, to ache. In fear of the hopeless mumu that I became with 4 children to raise. By a faltering dick, whose groin controls to intolerable promiscuity. Who eventually eloped, crumbling my whole dreams.

Now I look in the mirror everyday, I see to my surprise the woman I was to become, buried with her dreams. And this nothingness staring in my eyes. Please support me to alternate my income. No one is an island. My 8,500 teaching salary can not take care of my kids. And my body is weak from men taking advantage of me like in these times of needs. Every decision that we make leads us down a different road. We will never come to exactly the same crossroads. Every decision that we make has it significance. The tiniest choice that we make reverberates into our future. Mine did and I am suffering it consequencies now! But must help always come with a price, like a debt that must be paid? Truely, this world is unfair..!

Please, i have had another revelation about their attack, but this time in lagos, but they where not able to penetrate lagos well, but still got access to the borders and were shooting sporadically.

Please can you alert the governor And His officials if you can? tell them to  please biff up security around the sea shores/ports, airport and borders, not wait until it happens b4 its been done.
