A JOKE TO LEARN FROM..

I greet you oo Madam Korkus. I dont know where to say this fits in (In-house news or gist ....). But it sure teaches a lesson or two. 

I decided to send this in myself since my Sister has still not gotten over the shock.

My Sister suddenly ran to me after returning home frm work to inform me of luck finally shining on her. She had just got a call frm someone claiming to have gotten her contact frm the coordinator of a Professional Customer service programme She did while @ Uni. (Which should have been our source of suspicion considering the thousands of people that enrolled). He told her of an interview to take place @ Arik Air office in Abuja tomorrow by 11am, the requirements to come along with, the fact that they'll pay for cost of transport/flight...).

Suddenly, the tune changed. He called again to introduce Her to a certain Abimbola on phone, as She was supposedly to be on d 9:40am flight to Abj, and She could pally up with Her ahead of the trip. My Sister called the girl to try to form a relationship, and She told my Sister that she forgot some documents in Abj (prolly to avoid questions relating to the coming interview) as she had already done her interview, medicals, and documentation a few days back *all on the same day*. She told her to relax cos the call she got only meant that she'll be selected. Even I was happy for her!

Then, Mr Ibrahim started asking for money for flight, which should be transferred to Remilekun Ajayi (a staff of Arik Air, in PH @ d moment). All the while, my Sis was skeptical about the paying before a flight reference would be sent to her but still felt the need to give it a trial. And when the calls became incessant, we knew something was out of place.

 I decided to use my phone to attempt to call the Mr Ibrahim after updating my True caller app. Lo n behold, the name of the no owner came to my screen as 'IBRAHIM WAYO' - Abj ( which must have been previously saved by someone he defrauded). I then went further to call the Abimbola, also appeared as ALICE FRAUDSTER 419. I told her it's a shame she's conniving with Ibrahim in this fraudulent act and dat Our Mum is heaping curses on her @ the moment. She didn't wait to hear the rest! 

I'm sure a lot of people have fallen in d wrong hands, fallen prey to fraudsters, and plenty other tins. But please, in your quest for a job or change of one, be  careful enough to note the warning signals, the alarm in ur heads, strange and unnecessary references...

This is a memo to Patricia Ozegbe of Sparkles Fashion Store.

I made a comment on yesterday's in house news that she duped me of 20k being payment for two bags which were never delivered in the year 2011.

At the time I communicated with her on facebook and she confirmed that the payment had been received. 

Infact, I even kept in touch with a representative of hers regarding the bogus delivery.

Patricia never offered me an explanation until years later when she claimed her goods were seized by Customs. 

Eventually she blocked me on Facebook.

She denied all these yesterday in her reply.  Even stating that 20k will not bring down her business. How arrogant.

Patricia even if it was 2k, it was my hard earned money. And as I told you years ago, it ll come back to bite you. There is no running away from that.

It's not about the amount of money but about sting but being duped by a so called reputable store owner.  

It's been years now so I neither have the proof of the transaction nor the conversations. But as I wrote in my comment yesterday, I leave you to the best of judges who has all the proof.

I still have your phone number and that of your crime buddy so I get to see your faces on your whatsapp profile and say a little prayer for you. The same one I did years ago.

Deny it all you want Patricia Ozegbe, deep down you know the truth.
