Former Gov Sule Lamido And Sons May Allegedly Regain Freedom Today...

There are strong whisper that the immediate past governor of Jigawa state, Sule Lamido and his two sons, Mustapha and Aminu may be freed today as their Lawyers are working round the clock to secure their bail.

Sule Lamido and his two sons who were arrested by the Economic Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on a 28-count charge bordering on money laundering, abuse of public office and subtle bribery, amounting to N1.351 billion.
Justice Evelyn Anyadike last Thursday 9th July ordered that Lamido and his two sons be remanded in Kano prison, following administrative hitches that foiled their bail application.
She adjourned the case to 28 September for trial.

Na siddon look i follow una dey,As far as i am concerned EFCC is playing a game of snake and ladder with these politicians.

    2. My dear. Well, as much as we would love to see them behind bars, their offence is a bailable one..and as such, they cannot be denied bail. As it's against their fundamental human rights. The least that can happen is to seize their travel documents, which the court has requested.

  4. That's the problem with Nigeria, some people are just above the law. They can commit any crime and get away with it. Tell me how we want to fight corruption if the culprits are not properly brought to book? Until we know our onions as a country, nothing will work!!!

    1. They have NOT made away with anything. All that has happened is that they were granted bail. The case isn't over.

  7. Stella not only snake and ladder o, EFCC na wayo commission.

Sule Lamido is one politician from the North that says the truth and the North do not like him for that. If you live in North you would understand these people properly forget about the media. Just because of the role he played during the election not that he's clean o because no ex Gov or present Gov is clean.
