Former Commonwealth Secretary, Chief Emeka Anyaoku on 16th of July denied the allegations by the online news platform, Sahara Reporters, which alleged that he visited President Muhammadu Buhari on behalf of former President Goodluck Jonathan to stop the ongoing probe of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) government under the former president.
He described the report as ‘utterly baseless and despicable,” He accused the news platform of fabricating a false story against him.
In his words as stipulated in a statement sent to the Guardian:
The truth is that my meeting with the President lasted only 25 minutes and never, repeat never, was former President Jonathan mentioned in our discussions,”
“It is utterly baseless and despicable because there is no truth in it; not at all,”

ReplyDeleteGossip on the curbside is that a certain rapper is fruity. This man recently got some serious backlash because of one radio interview he did. Anyway, I will just mind my business. I had suspicions especially with the hand movements in his music video and I 've worked with a lot of them over the years but what's my own. Irregardless, he is still a gorgeous man, not for me and he is lucky he doesn't have to marry in the Las Gidi sense. So, happy Weekend to y'all.

ReplyDeleteMtcheeeeeeew
Sahara reporters! I just wonder why they keep on writing about Jonathan and PDP when they are suppose to be reporting about Sahara Desert. Or isn't that their name?
ReplyDeleteWhat do we expect? For Pa Emeka to tell us he discussed Jonathan issue with PMB? That's impossible. Our leaders are full of lies even when caught red handed they will still come up with stories to cover up their lies. The truth is that he visited Aso Rock and gave out press conference he can never come out and tell us he begged PMB on Jonathan's behalf that's confidential rapour between Pa Emeka and PMB do you people also forgot the issue about investigating US2.1Billion is just information we read online as government is yet to come out publicly with such judgement so all issues still remain confidential until investigations are concluded.
ReplyDeleteSahara reporters can't dish out such news without evidence knowing fully well that any fabricated story about Pa Emeka they might be taken to court for someone like him trying to protect his image. We are used to our leaders telling us lies whether you like it or not sahara reporters are Newsline to reckon with. With all Jonathan supporters noise he was still voted most of you never believed he will fizzle out Sahara reporters/Premier news played important role in that aspect they are part of the change in government we see today so i believe 90% of their stories because they have insiders who rally informations them so it's your opinion to believe or not as you do expect your NTA/AIT to give you reliable and investigative news. My advise to some here is to read and digest don't come out concluding about the writers being useless after all they still achieve their purpose by booting out your former government. How many time do you read investigative news about corruption on our normal press all they is still copy news from SR/Premier.
