EFCC Grants Toyin Saraki Administrative Bail

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has granted wife of Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki, Toyin, administrative bail after she was invited for a chat with the Commission for two days over allegation of corruption.

Toyin, who defied the early morning rain on Wednesday to continue with the chat she earlier on Tuesday had with the EFCC investigators, was later granted administrative bail after about five hours.

Sources at the EFCC said Mrs. Saraki was invited by the Commission over large inflow of money into her private company during her husband's tenure as Kwara state governor.

EFCC’s spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, who confirmed the bail to ThisDay reporter, explained that the administrative bail granted to the woman has not exonerated her from the offence she was accused of.
Uwujaren said Mrs. Saraki could be invited at any time necessary for further chat.

    1. Whosai? Not with her husband as the current senate president in the Banana Republic, called Naija. On the other hand, let's assume it was to actualize, then it is 4 sure, real change has come to stay.

    3. Whatever she stole is 'moin moin' compared to Oluremi Thiefnubu lootery. As at the time, a popular female pastor, also a very close friend to Oluremi died, billions of Naira held in trust for Oluremi was found in her account.

  4. And EFCC have to wait until Bukola Saraki defied the APC and become the Senate president before they suddenly discovered the "large inflow of money into her private company during her husband's reign as a governor"
I am afraid this new Islamic govt will spend it's entire tenure witch hunting political opponents and chasing shadows.
