In honour of one of our founding members, Late Awele Nwosu-Akeh, who sadly lost the battle to Sickle Cell on the 10th of May, the Sickle Cell Aid Foundation (SCAF) will be hosting a walk in Abuja to mark World Sickle Cell Day and we will be honoured if you could join us.Read about AWELE'S DIARY HERE

The walk will be taking place on the 13th of June commencing from Unity Fountain at 7am ending at Ramaya Park, Wuse 2, Abuja.
Thereafter, there would be a blood drive at Ramaya Park.

What exactly do you need to know? Your already doing it, although it's not easy. Be specific in your questions so you would be able to get satisfactory answers! I'm a sickler and a mom of three very beautiful kids, the first will soon be 10 (wow time flies).
