Strike Action In Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital Yaba

Wondering what this is all about?

''Dear Stella,
i am a reguar BV who is an health worker in the federal neuroppsychiatric hospital in yaba, all health workers there are on strike for various reasons but the major reasons are the ones i have picked out for you to see, with attached pictures  as evidence.thank you.i hope this will be posted on your blog so that the society and the federal ministry of health can know the truth.

Issues leading to the strike action in Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital Yaba

1) lack of security at the outpatient clinic, no escape route for health workers in case of an emergency ie aggressive patient which could lead to harm to doctors, patients and patient relatives, also no alarm systems to alert for help in case of an emergency.
Even the  consultants have refused to run clinics due to the security challenges. The federal ministry of health needs to shine their torchlight on this institution to avoid loss of lives as well as bodily harm to health workers as well as patients and their relatives

2)dilapidated state of the coonsulting rooms as evidenced by the pictures sent, you could pay a visit to the consulting rooms to see for yourself

3) salaries of the doctors not fully paid by management though complete salary released from the ministry

  3. Isn't a psychiatric hospital meant to be free of harmful objects? All I see are weapons that can be easily used by an aggressive patient. Ministry of health needs to step in and sort this issue out ASAP.

  18. It appears they don't care about the patients well being if they make them sit chairs like that, Maybe mad patients don't notice. It's a federal institution, not ambodes bizness
