Reuben Abati Back To School In Oxford University

Dr Reuben Abati, the former Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Former President Goodluck Jonathan, whose political appointment automatically terminated after Former President Jonathan handed over to the new President Buhari, has revealed that he is now back in school.

In his latest Instagram post, he said : "I get tons of positive messages with common questions like "Where are you, What are you doing Dr. Reuben Abati?" I've been participating in the Advanced Management and Leadership Programme of the Oxford University's Said Business School since the 7th of June. I had a great time discussing Nigerian Politics with my boss and former President Jonathan in London over the weekend. Thanks for your encouraging messages and concern. God bless you and #Nigeria. #NewBeginnings #LifelongLearner #StayPosted"

    3. Hmmmm.... like play like play. Mr Reuben, now that u are out of governance....I wish to ask you some salient questions, cos I know u visit this blog.

Can u with ur hand on chest, truly declare that whilst u held ur position of media authority in Aso rock, that u were just and fair to Nigerians?

Did u really achieve anything apart from money? Remember that before u took up the job with Jonathan, you were a semi activist by virtue of ur job as a journalist. You were highly revered because...u most of the time.. spoke for the masses.

At numerous past times, I heard u air your views and displeasure about the government of before... Meaning that you understood the needs of the masses.

Let me ask again Mr Abati, can u truly say that on the strength of this, that u represented your people, or at least to a large extent, did u at any point fulfill their desires other than yours??

Reuben Abati, are u confident that posterity will applaud u? Do u feel 'safe' and bold enough to mingle as a normal citizen after office, without fear of being lambasted by aggrieved citizens who expected so much from u?

All these and much more are what I wish to ask you Mr Abati.. if all answers are in the affirmative, then I congratulate you and wish u success in ur quest to acquire more knowledge.

If otherwise, then I have no other choice than to assume that your journey to Oxford is to shy away from being condemned by your colleagues and others, who by now are giving u the cold shoulder treatment, and who think that u failed to represent them without a conscience. Nonetheless good luck.

    4. Stella which one is hurriedly look away, its like APC don settle u oh. Well history will prove Jonathan the true hero. Una never see drama, make una grab pop corn and coke or orijin sef, more APC dramas will emerge. Bunch of power hungry wolves, joined together by their common hatred for Jonathan, sebi the man don go London dey watch the drama sef. That your stupid boo will be swept aside with a mighty broom. You think abokis don't know what they are doing, shior, dem wait make Yorubas help dem enter and they will dump them like hot shit. When Buhari was campaigning for this post, Lagos was his home oh, he was here 24/7, when last did he visited Lagos. Sebi Prof Osunbade or Osinbajo was referred to as a Common Commissioner, ouch, that's painful. Tinubu don receive one yesterday, I dey wait for Amaechis turn, even OBJ sef don quiet small. Aunty Oby is singing a new song (she never begin sha, she's practising), sebi she said she will support Fashola whenever he wants to run for presidency, eeyah, I laugh in Isoko language. Which presidency, when Atiku don dey do press up every morning. Hian, u no see say Saraki paid him a thank you courtesy call yesterday. Atiku that was so quiet during the campaign. Okay oh, I beg wey my pop corn, I ate plenty while watching the drama at the national assembly yesterday. More to come, let me reserve plenty. We never see adviser names, no ministerial list yet. Stella Kontinu, I miss mama Peace o jare

  10. He is back to school in good atmosphere and deceit class room. What their administration can't create in Nigeria but spear headed strike of 8months. Hope he will read without strike or lack of lecturers in class yeye people. Leadership course is done in lagos business school how come he didn't ask his oga to improve the lagos business school to enable people like him study there. If they improve lagos business school to a good standard such courses can be done there but light and security won't allow him to read so he ran abroad. I wish foreign government will ban Africa elites from travelling outside Africa until they fix that continent. *Just wish*.
Our leaders just rush abroad for all manner of things but can't create good environment to improve leaving standard for citizens and their own kids to leave. Long Hissssssss.

    5. The best comment so far @ Jay Moore. I get so angry seeing these politicians going abroad for education and hospital treatment. White people are just human beings like us. If they can build their nation so can we.

  14. Abati wat a way to end ur journalism career. You didn't handle ur job well, u crossed the line so many times. Insulted n told lies to Nigerians who trusted u culd do d job, pple who read ur articles on Fridays n Sundays, pple who watched Patito's gang cos of ur strong anti government views n apt analysis.
You threw all dat away, threw caution to the wind, kicked ur friends in d ass (Dele Momodu n co) you didn't bother to learn frm Segun Adeniyi whose career was truncated after he worked with president Yardua (a more reasonable government than urs)
You even insulted Obj who bought u ram for ur child's christening.
Well, good luck in ur studies. Pick a job abroad n don't bother coming back to ur Arepo abode/Omole.
You are frm Ogun state, Abeokuta precisely so I don't see u coming to politics in that region. We all saw results of elections there. PDP is dead in DT part. All results were zero zero n zero for them. Good bye Dr. I see u becoming a Prof soon.

  19. Like he would have gone back to school if his former oga had won. With the kain shit wey e shit when in power, he took an easy way out; by enrolling in a foreign school, bidding his time. I thought you guys fixed up everything when you were in power? Why run to a foreign school? Nobody needs you back sef, oh maybe except your family members.
