The Member representing Ughelli South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Honorable Barrister Reuben Rume Izeze has given thanks to God for his victory in the last general election and subsequent swearing into office as member representing Ughelli South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly.
The thanksgiving ceremony which held at the Oginibo branch of the Christ Missionaries Crusaders Church had the South South Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria CAN and General Overseer of the Church, Arch Bishop Goddowell Avwomakpa ministering.
In his thanksgiving testimony, Hon. Izeze was full of joy and appreciation to God for finding him worthy to be used as a vessel of service to the people of Ughelli South Local Government.
"I believe in the Sarduana school of thought where public office should be strictly meant for service and not for personal aggrandizement.
"My dream is to use public office to bring development to my people. I am not a business man and I do not intend to do business with public office.
"We are here to thank God for the immense support the people have given us so far. Am amazed at the high level of attendance we have witnessed today. It goes to show the general acceptance of our mandate and also buttresses the fact that we have a serious challenge of caring for the people." He said

ReplyDeleteBros,i hail o
Oginibo holds many many pleasant memories for me. Too bad that the people I share those memories with are no more. I'm talking of days when there was no electricity in the community and the only place you could get a cold drink was from only one shop that had a kerosene fridge.
ReplyDeleteIts just too much I might just start tearing up if I keep writing.
I'm pleased at the level of development there now.
big ups to the people
